Fresno State redshirt senior WR Aaron Peck (leg) will be a game-time decision for Friday's game against Air Force.
Peck has been practicing this week, a strong outward sign that he is trending toward game action on Friday. Interim HC Eric Kiesau said, "We’ll make that decision [on whether Peck will play] as we get closer to the game." Due to his leg issue, the 6-foot-3, 217-pounder did not play against Utah State last time out. In seven games this season, he has caught 34 passes for 511 yards and three touchdowns. The bulk of that yardage came in contests against Nebraska and UNLV. Those two games saw him pile up a combined 306 yards receiving. Fri, Oct 28, 2016 03:31:00 PM

In a review of Fresno State senior WR Aaron Peck (foot) prior to his season-ending injury, NFL Media draft analyst Chad Reuter wrote that "a strong senior season displaying the speed and agility to be a factor after the catch will help him rise up draft boards."

Unfortunately, Peck will miss the season after suffering a left foot injury earlier this month. It was a devastating turn of events both for the player and his team, who hoped Peck would assume the No. 1 WR role with Josh Harper off to the NFL. The 6-foot-3, 217-pound Peck hauled in 32 passes for 419 yards (13.1 YPC) and three touchdowns last season. He should take a redshirt and try to rehab his draft stock in 2016.
