NC State redshirt junior T Will Richardson will forego his final season of eligibility to enter the 2018 NFL Draft.

Richardson (6'6/303) earned All-ACC second-team honors after the close of the 2017 season. A steady presence in pass blocking, he helped anchor an offensive line which surrendered just 12 sacks for the campaign. As an NFL prospect, a strong evaluating process will be key for Richardson, whom Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline views as a sixth-round selection. He'll also have to answer for some off-field concerns -- the Wolfpack lineman was hit with a two-game suspension for reasons unknown to open the 2017 season and was also arrested on suspicion of DWI in the autumn of 2015.

NC State redshirt junior T Will Richardson has been on the field for all 244 offensive snaps over the past three games.

Richardson (6'6/303) was suspended for the first two games of the season due to an off-field issue from the spring. Since coming back, he has been brilliant. In NC State's last three contests starting at right tackle, the redshirt junior has not allowed a sack or a quarterback hurry -- a huge factor in NC State's 5-1 open to the season. They'll try for their sixth win against Pitt on Saturday.

NC State redshirt junior T Will Richardson was listed as the starter at left tackle on a depth chart released Monday.

NC State coach Dave Doeren suspended Richardson for two games for an incident that took place in the spring. It isn't the first time that Richardson has run into an off-field issue.

NC State redshirt freshman T Will Richardson has been suspended indefinitely after his DWI arrest.

Richardson started all eight games at right tackle but could miss the remainder of the season, since NC State's rules call for a semester long suspension for a DWI near campus. NC State's offensive line has played much better this year than last, and Richardson played a crucial piece in that.
