USC senior T Chuma Edoga accepted an invitation to the Reese's Senior Bowl.
Edoga (6'4/295) didn't have as good of senior season as his junior year, and he battled injuries towards the end of the year. Still, he has a chance to be an NFL prospect because of his athleticism and success the previous year; where he allowed just six pressures the entire year. The Senior Bowl will be a big test for his draft stock. Fri, Dec 7, 2018 04:15:00 PM

USC senior T Chuma Edoga (knee) is not suited up in advance of Saturday's game against UCLA.

The Trojans will be missing their starting right tackle for a second consecutive contest, it would appear. Edoga sustained a hyperextended knee against Arizona State at the end of October. With the senior out of action on Saturday, Jalen McKenzie looks to be in line to start in this one.

USC senior T Chuma Edoga left Saturday’s game against Arizona State early with a hyperextended knee.

Something to keep an eye on ahead of this weekend's tilt versus Oregon State. Edoga is the Trojans' starting right tackle.

USC senior T Chuma Edoga allowed a mere six quarterback pressures last season.

Per Pro Football Focus, that silly-low number of quarterback pressures allowed is good for tops among returning tackles in the Pac-12. Just whom the 6-foot-4, 290-pounder will be blocking for during the coming campaign is still an open question. One of J.T. Daniels, Jack Sears or Matt Fink will have the tall task of leading USC's offense into the post-Sam Darnold era.

USC junior T Chuma Edoga (ankle) sat out of practice on Tuesday.

That said, he's expected to return to practice in short order. Edoga missed Saturday's game against Oregon State with a high ankle sprain suffered in the previous week's loss to Washington State. The Trojans consider him questionable to play this weekend against USC.

USC junior T Chuma Edoga (ankle) will not play in Saturday's game against Oregon State.

Edoga sustained a high ankle sprain in the first quarter of last Friday's loss to Washington State. He was unable to put weight on the leg after suffering the injury. The 6-foot-4, 290-pounder did not practice this week. Clayton Johnson figures to see plenty of time in rotation with Edoga out on Saturday.

USC junior T Chuma Edoga (lower body) left Friday night's game against Washington State early with what appeared to be a lower body injury.

Edoga (6'4/290) was starting at LT in place of Toa Lobendahn who is out with a staph infection. Redshirt sophomore Clayton Johnson replaced Edoga. He should be considered questionable to return at this time.

USC junior T Chuma Edoga heads into the summer as the projected left tackle.

The Trojans must replace right tackle Zach Banner, left tackle Chad Wheeler and left guard Damien Mama, all of whom are now in the NFL. Edoga gained starting experience while filling in for Wheeler last fall.

USC sophomore LT Chuma Edoga did not dress for Thursday's win over Cal due to a violation of team rules.

No word as to what Edoga did to incur the wrath of HC Clay Helton, but the 6-foot-4, 290-pound sophomore was sidelined for Thursday's affair. It is not yet known whether he will be allowed to play against Oregon next weekend.

USC sophomore LT Chuma Edoga is not dressed for Friday's game against Utah due to illness.

Edoga is on-hand for the contest, but he will not play. The 6-foot-4, 290-pounder had been starting in place of Chad Wheeler (plantar fascitis). He had a moment of minor infamy this season when he pushed a ref in Week 2's win over Utah State. No suspension came of that shove.

USC sophomore LT Chuma Edoga will not serve a suspension for pushing a ref in Saturday's win over Utah State.

Edoga was ejected after pushing a ref in the Trojans' first offensive series on Saturday, but he has dodged an out-and-out suspension. "We've had the opportunity to talk to the Pac-12," said HC Clay Helton, "and his ejection in the first series of the game constituted a full game for the player. No additional discipline was needed by the conference. Internally, from our standpoint, Chuma will be demoted from his starting role." The 6-foot-4, 290-pounder had started for Chad Wheeler (plantar fasciitis) each of the past two games.

USC sophomore LT Chuma Edoga was ejected in the first quarter against Utah State.

Edoga was ejected for a personal foul after shoving a referee when the official attempted to grab and pull him away from a pile. Edoga emerged as the starter at left tackle for an injured Chad Wheeler.

USC head coach Clay Helton named sophomore Chuma Edoga the starting LT for Saturday's game against Alabama.

The Crimson Tide's arsenal of pass rushers will be a very difficult test for the sophomore tackle, who started on the right side against Utah and Wisconsin. Longtime starter Chad Wheeler is dealing with plantar fasciitis and is not expected to see the field for many snaps. The Trojans offense has a new look at many positions, especially at quarterback with Max Browne.
