West Virginia redshirt senior T Yodny Cajuste accepted an invitation to the Reese's Senior Bowl.

Cajuste (6'5/321) is considered one of the better offensive linemen in the Big 12, and is known for having a "mean streak" while flashing the ability to help in the run and passing game for the Mountaineers. He currently projects as a mid-round talent, but with that size and production, he could move up if he tests well at events like this one.

West Virginia redshirt junior T Yodny Cajuste left Friday's game against Oklahoma due to a leg injury sustained in the third quarter.

Cajuste (6'5/321) sustained an injury to his right leg while getting rolled up in the pile near the goal line in the closing minutes of the third quarter. He was eventually able to limp off the field, albeit with assistance. Consider the future NFL lineman questionable to return to action. We will pass along updates as information becomes available.

West Virginia redshirt junior LT Yodny Cajuste was ejected from Saturday's game at Texas after committing a personal foul.

Cajuste was flagged for a personal foul after blocking on West Virginia's PAT, with the official ruling that the left tackle threw a punch. Replay video showed that the decision may have been an overreaction, but now the Mountaineers have to adjust to not having their best lineman for the remainder of the game. With Cajuste out, Kelby Wickline was next in line at the left tackle position per the team's depth chart.

Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline gave West Virginia redshirt junior T Yodny Cajuste a fifth-round grade.

Pauline mentioned that Cajuste is "well liked in scouting circles but may be better off on the right side or at guard instead of left tackle. Cajuste is not as consistent with his fundamentals compared to his teammates and shows a bit of stiffness in his game." Despite Pauline's concerns over his fundamentals, Cajuste is incredibly athletic. He has been timed running a 10-yard split of 1.65 seconds which would have been the fastest combine time by a lineman over the past three years. He also can bench 495 pounds and dead lift 735. As long as he turns in a solid season, he will likely light up the combine and be taken in the middle rounds of the 2019 NFL draft.

West Virginia redshirt junior T Yodny Cajuste has been timed with a 10-yard split of 1.65 seconds.

That would have been the fastest split of any lineman at the NFL Scouting Combine in February. Indeed, it would have been the fastest such split in any of the last three combines. The 6-foot-5, 304-pound Cajuste has more than just steam on his hooves, though. He's also strong as an ox, with The Athletic's Bruce Feldman passing along that the redshirt junior can bench 495 pounds and dead lift 735 pounds. He could have declared for the NFL Draft over the winter, but instead opted to keep his talents in Morgantown for at least one more year.

West Virginia redshirt junior T Yodny Cajuste will return for his final season of collegiate eligibility in 2018.

The Mountaineers are returning three of their key offensive, draft-eligible pieces in Cajuste, QB Will Grier and WR David Sills. For his part, the 6-foot-5, 304-pound Cajuste was a 12-game starter this season. Following the campaign, he was named second-team All-Big 12 for his work on the line. West Virginia ranked ninth in the country in terms of fewest tackles for loss surrendered this year.
