Oklahoma State junior RB Justice Hill has declared for the 2019 NFL Draft.
Hill made the announcement on his Twitter account, and he won't play in the team's bowl game against Missouri in the Liberty Bowl. After rushing for 1,467 yards and 15 touchdowns as a sophomore, Hill (5'10/190) didn't come close to replicating that success in 2018, but some of that was injury related, and the Cowboys had to throw a lot to make up for their porous defense. Hill is currently viewed as Day 3 talent, but if he tests well, he could see that stock rise. Dec 3 - 11:02 AM

Oklahoma State junior RB Justice Hill (ribs) is not in uniform for Saturday's game against TCU.

Earlier in the week Oklahoma State HC Mike Gundy said that his starting running back should be "good to go," but obviously something has changed regarding Hill's health. As a result of the junior running back's absence Chuba Hubbard should be first in line for carries as Oklahoma State looks to close out its regular season with a win.
Nov 24 - 7:34 PM

Oklahoma State junior RB Justice Hill (ribs) should be "good to go" against TCU on Saturday according to head coach Mike Gundy.

It's good news, but it's worth pointing out that Gundy sounded optimistic about Hill playing on Saturday against West Virginia, but ultimately didn't dress. If he can't go, Chuba Hubbard would be the bell-cow, and he was able to run for 134 yards against the Mountaineers.
Nov 19 - 2:22 PM

Oklahoma State junior RB Justice Hill (ribs) isn't in uniform for Saturday's game against West Virginia.

This was relatively unexpected as Hill was cleared to play earlier in the week. In addition to Hill, the Cowboys will also be without RB J.D. King. This leaves Oklahoma State with just Chuba Hubbard, LD Brown and true freshman Jahmyl Jeter as the only running backs on scholarship available. Expect Hubbard to receive the majority of the work.
Nov 17 - 3:11 PM

Oklahoma State junior RB Justice Hill (ribs) has been cleared to play on Saturday against West Virginia.

According to head coach Mike Gundy, Hill underwent a CAT scan and x-rays, and there was no structural damage. Hill was forced to leave the high-scoring loss to Oklahoma last Saturday. Chuba Hubbard could be in for more carries against the Mountaineers to keep Hill fresh, but the talented junior should be ready to roll for the game against West Virginia.
Nov 12 - 3:36 PM

Oklahoma State junior RB Justice Hill (ribs) is considered doubtful to return to Saturday's game against Oklahoma.

Hill played briefly before leaving the game with what was described as sore ribs. With the update on the junior running back's status, Chuba Hubbard will see even more playing time against the rival Sooners. Should Hill be unable to return, his status for the Nov. 17 game against West Virginia is something to keep an eye on.
Nov 10 - 5:54 PM

Oklahoma State junior RB Justice Hill (ribs) left Saturday's game at Oklahoma during the first half.

Hill saw action early in the game but would eventually depart, with it being reported that he's dealing with sore ribs. There's been no determination regarding the junior running back's status for the second half, but if he's unable to return this would have a significant impact on the Oklahoma State offense. Hill rushed for 35 yards and a touchdown on five carries before leaving the game, with Chuba Hubbard replacing him.
Nov 10 - 5:34 PM

Oklahoma State junior RB Justice Hill rushed for 119 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries in Saturday's 35-31 loss to Baylor.

Baylor is one of the Power 5's worst defenses in preventing explosive runs. Considering that Hill is one of the most explosive runners in the nation, we'd consider this a positive performance for the Bears. Hill averaged 6.6 ypc but he was held to a long of 31. Hill is 100 yards and change away from his third straight 1,000-yard rushing campaign.
Nov 3 - 4:21 PM

Oklahoma State junior RB Justice Hill rushed for 92 yards on 23 carries in Saturday's 38-35 win over Texas.

Hill (5'10/190) was kept out of the end zone with Taylor Cornelius vulturing two rushing scores, but the junior back was effective at picking up yards. His ability to shoot through gaps allowed Cornelius to pick up a key first down late in the game on a read option, so his effect went further than what the box score indicates. Hill now has back-to-back games without a rushing score after starting the season with six straight games with a touchdown, but he will look to find the end zone next week against Baylor.
Oct 28 - 12:28 AM

Oklahoma State junior RB Justice Hill rushed for 189 yards and a touchdown on 31 carries in Saturday's 48-28 win over Kansas.

Hill (5'10/190) has rushed for at least one touchdown in all five games this year. He topped 110 rushing yards in four of those five games, with the only "off" game coming in the blowout of South Alabama in Week 2 where OSU gave Hill the afternoon off early (nine carries). He's up to 577 rushing yards and six TD on the year.
Sep 29 - 3:52 PM

Oklahoma State junior RB Justice Hill rushed for 111 yards and one touchdown on 12 carries in Saturday's 41-17 loss to Texas Tech.

Hill (5'10/190) was fantastic once again but the Cowboys were outgunned by the Red Raiders. The junior running back entered Saturday's game averaging an absurd 8.1 YPC and somehow was able to beat that tonight. On his 45 season carries, Hill has 388 rushing yards and five touchdowns. As he did as a sophomore, Hill will finish near the top of a lot of rushing categories if he can stay healthy. Oklahoma State heads to Lawerence to take on the Kansas Jayhawks next Saturday in a matchup that features two great running backs (Hill and KU's Pooka Williams).
Sep 22 - 11:13 PM

Oklahoma State junior RB Justice Hill rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries in Saturday's 44-21 win over Boise State.

Hill (5'10/190) has yet to turn in a truly head-turning performance, but in the same breath, he's now topped 100 yards rushing in two of three games this month. The junior standout will try to keep up his steady production against Texas Tech next weekend. We wouldn't be surprised if that ended up as his first blockbuster performance of the campaign, given the defense he'll have the pleasure of pounding into the ground in that Saturday affair.
Sep 15 - 7:27 PM

Oklahoma State junior RB Justice Hill rushed for 32 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries in Saturday's 55-13 win over South Alabama.

Not too much doing on the yardage front for Hill on Saturday, but this was not a game in which the Cowboys needed all that much from their star back. Through two games, the 5-foot-10, 190-pounder has now rushed for 154 yards and three touchdowns. He'll look to crack Boise State's code next weekend.
Sep 9 - 1:24 AM

Oklahoma State junior RB Justice Hill ran 10 times for 122 yards and a score in a 58-17 win over Missouri State on Thursday.

Hill was held mostly in check outside of one run. That one run, however, was enough to make this a big game for the talented tailback, as it was a 92-yard scamper that set up a Taylor Cornelius touchdown and gave OSU a 24-0 lead. He wasn't asked to do anything after that, as the Cowboys spread the football around against the clearly inferior SEMO squad. Expect Hill to get many more touches in the next few weeks, starting with a showdown against South Alabama on September 8.
Aug 30 - 11:49 PM

Oklahoma State junior RB Justice Hill is expecting an expanded receiving role.

In response to a question about receiving Hill said, "If they think I can do it and I feel like I can do it, then we will try it out there." Hill (5'10/171) caught 31 passes as a sophomore, so this isn't foreign to him, but he can improve on his 6.1 YPR. To get more comfortable as receiver, Hill has spent time with the receivers in camp. Already deemed a potential Day 1 or Day 2 NFL pick next season, an increase in receiving production would be icing on the cake.
