Oregon sophomore DT Austin Faoliu (ankle) practiced on Tuesday.
Faoliu (6'3/285) sat out against Cal two weekends ago due to an ankle issue. The Ducks were off on bye for Week 6, allowing him a little extra time to heal up. Oregon HC Mario Cristobal has already said that he expects the sophomore lineman to be "good to go" for Saturday's showdown with Washington. If there's any late setback, we'll pass along word. Oregon HC Mario Cristobal said that sophomore DT Austin Faoliu (ankle) was a 50-50 proposition for Saturday's game against Cal.

Faoliu (6'4/285) has yet to miss a game this season. We'll have to wait until later in the practice week to see if that healthy trend will continue through the weekend. This season, the former four-star recruit has registered 15 tackles. Drayton Carlberg, a junior, is listed as Faoliu's backup on this week's depth chart.

Oregon received a verbal commitment from three-star 2017 DT Austin Faoliu.

Faoliu made his Ducks commitment at the Polynesian Bowl over the weekend. He opted for Oregon over Oklahoma, Michigan State and Texas -- this despite the fact that the 6-foot-4, 285-pounder has yet to visit Eugene (that will come next weekend). He was actually fresh off an official visit to the Sooners at the time he made his opposite pledge. Scout.com's Blair Angulo was impressed with his work during the Polynesian Bowl practice week, writing that Faoliu "show[ed] the agility off the snap and hand quickness that made him one of the hotter prospects in the last month."
