South Carolina senior T Dennis Daley accepted an invitation to play in the Reese's Senior Bowl.
Daley was considered a potential breakout star after a solid 2017 campaign, but he was inconsistent in 2018 against better competition. Still, he was given mid-round grades by some analysts coming into the year, so if the 6-foot-6, 324-pound tackle can perform well in Mobile, he has a chance to reestablish that stock, possibly even improve it. Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline notes that South Carolina senior T Dennis Daley has a big test against Georgia on Saturday.

Pauline gave Daley a fourth-round grade coming into the season, noting that he showed "next level" stuff in his junior campaign after coming over from a junior college in 2017. He certainly opened on a strong note, but that was against Coastal Carolina. "Against Georgia he’ll be facing defensive end Jonathan Ledbetter and linebacker D’Andre Walker, two defenders who can rush the passer and project as second-round picks," writes Pauline. If Daley performs well on Saturday, it will be a big boon to his draft status going forward.

Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline writes that South Carolina senior T Dennis Daley showed "next level" stuff in 2017.

Pauline gives Daley a fourth-round grade coming into the year. Signed in 2017 as a four-star JUCO player, Daley impressed in his time with the first-team, in Pauline's eyes. "His size, footwork and mobility translate well to the next level," he writes. "If he elevates his game and plays the way most believe Daley is capable of playing he could turn into a second day pick."

South Carolina signed four-star JUCO T Dennis Daley.

Daley originally signed with South Carolina in 2015 as a three-star prospect out of high school, and now the parties have been reunited. "Has the overall size and flashes very good playing strength," notes a scouting report of Daley on ESPN. "In pass pro flashes a jolting punch and can refine placement, but can strike and lock out and stay in front of rushers. Displays adequate range and ability to locate and get a hat on targets." The site believes that Daley needs to work on "coming off low and maintaining leverage."
