Nebraska senior WR Stanley Morgan caught seven passes for 81 yards in a 31-28 loss to Iowa on Friday.
Morgan was playing his final game as a Cornhusker -- Nebraska won't be going bowling -- and he ends it with a solid game, albeit in a losing effort. He was outstanding to end the year, and with his size (6'1/200) and speed, he could be one of the first senior wideouts to come off the board come the 2019 NFL Draft. A trip to an All-Star game is very likely. Nov 23 - 3:32 PM

Nebraska senior WR Stanley Morgan caught seven passes for 82 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday's 45-31 victory over Bethune-Cookman.

This was Morgan's second consecutive two-touchdown game bringing his season stat line up to 44-638-5. His touchdowns came within five minutes of one another with the first from three yards away and the second from 27. Morgan has turned it up the past few weeks and is rising up draft boards because of it. He will look to continue his success next week in a tough matchup against Ohio State.
Oct 27 - 5:42 PM

Nebraska senior WR Stanley Morgan was listed among NFL Draft Scout's Rob Rangs risers for his performance against Minnesota in Week 8.

Morgan was excellent in helping the Huskers win their first game of 2018, picking up 10 receptions for 163 yards with two touchdowns in the 53-28 blowout. Morgan has been one of the few constants for Nebraska in the trying season, and Rang notes he has shown "soft hands, steady route-running and underrated overall athleticism." The senior wideout is going to need to test and perform well in postseason workouts, but it shouldn't be a surprise if he's one of the first upperclassman at the position drafted in 2019.
Oct 22 - 7:13 PM

Nebraska senior WR Stanley Morgan caught 10 passes for 163 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday's 53-28 victory over Minnesota.

Morgan was relatively quiet in the first half, but he really did damage in the second half. His 35-yard touchdown catch in the third quarter with the score 28-22 was big, as it gave Nebraska some cushion. Then, with five minutes to go, his 67-yard touchdown catch iced the game for good. This was Morgan's first 10-catch game of the season and his first 100-yard game of the season. Oh, and he also tripled his touchdown total.
Oct 20 - 7:46 PM

Nebraska senior WR Stanley Morgan caught three passes for 61 yards in Saturday's 56-10 loss to Michigan.

To put Morgan's modest performance in perspective, no Huskers running back topped 25 yards rushing and no other Huskers receiver topped 25 yards receiving. Just a monstrous defensive performance by Michigan, here. Nebraska finished the game with 132 yards of total offense. They'll try for better times against Purdue next Saturday. For his part, Morgan has now topped 60 yards receiving in all three of Nebraska's games. That's about the most we can say on the positive side with this team right now.
Sep 22 - 5:08 PM

Nebraska senior WR Stanley Morgan caught five passes for 64 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 24-19 loss to Troy.

Morgan led the team in receiving yards this week with the majority coming on a 33-yard catch. He scored a touchdown from nine yards out where he blazed past the corner on an "in" route and QB Andrew Bunch fired in a pass for the score. Morgan now has five catches in consecutive games to start the season. He should continue to put up solid numbers with the expected return of QB Adrian Martinez.
Sep 15 - 4:14 PM

CBS Sports draft writer Chris Trapasso lists Nebraska senior WR Stanley Morgan as an under-the-radar prospect who could see their stock rise in 2018.

Morgan (6'1/195) showed flashes of brilliance during his junior campaign, catching 61 passes for 986 yards and 10 touchdowns. As Trapasso notes, he also was able to show his ability to make plays against tough corners -- scoring on fourth-overall pick Denzel Ward last year -- and scoring four touchdowns from 44 yards or longer. "At around 6-feet-1 and close to 200 pounds with a chiseled frame, Morgan Jr. has decent size and should up his yards-after-the-catch production in Scott Frost's wide-open offense this season, which will make him more of an appealing prospect for the increased prevalence of quick passing in today's NFL," Trapasso writes. "He reminds me of Packers star wideout Davante Adams."

Nebraska senior WR Stanley Morgan ranked either first or second in terms of targets, receptions, yards and touchdowns in the Big Ten last season.

Morgan (6'1/195) topped all wideouts in the conference in terms of targets (113), yards (990) and touchdowns (100) while finishing second in the Big Ten with his 61 catches. Keep in mind that he did all of this on an adrift team quarterbacked by Tanner Lee. A statistical boost may well be coming his way this year.
Jun 23 - 3:44 PM

Nebraska junior WR Stanley Morgan will return for the 2018 season.

Morgan (6'1/195) was eligible to declare for the draft as a junior, but will be sticking it out in Lincoln for HC Scott Frost's first year at the helm. The 2017 campaign was Morgan's best at the collegiate level, as he logged a 61-986-10 receiving line while averaging 16.2 yards per reception. Both the yardage and touchdown marks were second-best for the Big Ten.
Jan 4 - 12:14 PM

Nebraska junior WR Stanley Morgan caught seven passes for 74 yards and two touchdowns in Friday's 56-14 loss to Iowa.

Morgan notched a 14-yard touchdown grab in the first quarter and a 28-yarder in the second quarter. Those would stand as Nebraska's only points of the game. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound junior ends the campaign the owner of a 61-986-10 receiving line. All of the marks on that line are career bests for Morgan.

Nebraska junior WR Stanley Morgan (hip) caught six passes for 112 yards and scored the game-winning touchdown in a 25-24 victory over Purdue on Saturday.

Morgan (6'1/195) bounced back from his "disappointing" game against Ohio State with another 100 yard effort. In six of the seven games this year, he's had at least 90 yards, and he's now scored in four straight games. This touchdown was the biggest of the year, as he hooked up with QB Tanner Lee from 13 yards out with just 14 seconds left to give the Huskers the vital victory. Morgan will look to make it five straight games with a score next week against Northwestern.

Nebraska junior WR Stanley Morgan (hip) didn't practice last week, but should be able to play against Purdue on Saturday.

Morgan (6'1/195) earlier dealt with a neck injury, and now has a hip injury to deal with. He could be in for a big target game on Saturday against the struggling Boilermakers defense.

Nebraska junior WR Stanley Morgan caught four passes for 115 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's loss to Wisconsin.

Morgan (6'1/195) has been dealing with a neck injury over the past few weeks, but looked no worse for the wear against the Badgers. The junior wideout did the bulk of his damage on an 80-yard touchdown grab in the second quarter. For the campaign, he owns a 30-510-5 receiving line through five games played.
