NC State junior WR Kelvin Harmon announced that he'll enter the 2019 NFL Draft.
Harmon also announced that he won't play in the Gator Bowl. The writing was on the wall here for a while after he walked with seniors during their game against Wake Forest. Harmon was excellent in 2018, posting a 72/1,065/6 line for the Wolf Pack. With his size (6'3/214) he's an obvious red-zone threat, but there are some concerns about his overall speed and athleticism. If he does test well at the combine and his pro day, he'll be a high draft pick because of those ball skills and production. Dec 3 - 3:22 PM

NC State junior WR Kelvin Harmon caught seven passes for 100 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 52-10 win over Louisville.

Harmon (6'3/214) has been on a tear with NFL quarterback prospect Ryan Finley throwing the ball well recently. Finley threw an accurate ball to Harmon towards the sideline for a 25-yard touchdown, but Harmon was a chain mover for the entire game. With another big game under his belt, Harmon is up to 72-1,065-6 on his junior campaign. With his quarterback headed to the NFL Draft after the season, it's fair to question if Harmon will follow after a successful season. The duo will get two more regular season games (UNC, ECU) before he makes his decision.
Nov 17 - 5:07 PM

NC State junior WR Kelvin Harmon snagged 15 receptions for 134 yards in a 27-23 loss to Wake Forest on Thursday.

Another huge reception day for Harmon (6'3/214), who walked with seniors on Thursday night; which may be a clue as to whether or not he's going to join the NFL ranks next year. It's the second time in three games that Harmon has reached double digits, and while his long was "only" 18, he was responsible for keeping several drives going. Another big game is very likely next Saturday for Harmon against Louisville.
Nov 8 - 11:09 PM

The Wolfpacker reports that NC State junior WR Kelvin Harmon will walk with seniors on Thursday before their game against Wake Forest.

They also report that Harmon (6'3/214) has not yet made a decision as to whether or not he'll give up his final season of eligibility. Kinda sounds like he has, however. The wideout has been excellent in 2018 with a line of 50/813/5, and he's considered among the top possession wideouts in the draft. We won't know for sure for months, but there's a real good chance Harmon's time with the Wolfpack will run out at the end of 2018.
Nov 7 - 5:01 PM

NFL Draft Scout's Rob Rang lists NC State junior WR Kelvin Harmon as the top riser from Week 9 after his performance on Saturday against Syracuse.

Harmon (6'3/214) was an absolute monster against the Orange -- albeit in a losing effort -- catching 11 passes for 247 yards with two scores. The junior was productive in 2017 with a thousand-yard season, but he's really taken things to another level in 2018. "Harmon’s final draft grade could hinge on how he runs for the stop-watch," writes Rang, "but his physicality and body control are undeniable."
Oct 29 - 4:29 PM

NC State junior WR Kelvin Harmon caught 11 passes for 247 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday's 51-41 loss to Syracuse.

Harmon (6'3/214) was everywhere in Saturday evening's affair, showing off his array of pro-upside skills while helping NC State to hang around in a game that they trailed in almost for the entirety. His first touchdown came from 74 yards out in the second quarter, while his second was of a more modest 12 yards. That latter score came in the fourth quarter and drew NC State to within 44-41 on the scoreboard. They would not score again. For the campaign, Harmon has now compiled a 46-794-4 receiving line in seven games played. After starting out the season 5-0, NC State has now dropped two consecutive games. They'll try to get back on track against FSU next weekend.
Oct 27 - 11:43 PM

NC State junior WR Kelvin Harmon caught nine passes for 128 yards and a score in a 28-23 victory over Boston College on Saturday.

Harmon continues to dominate as QB Ryan Finley's No. 1 WR and this is his third 100-yard receiving game in five contests this season. His touchdown came from 34-yards late in the third quarter to give the Wolfpack a commanding 28-3 lead. Harmon now has a 33/534/2 stat line through five games this season and continues to boost his draft stock. Harmon will have a chance to shine in the national spotlight against Clemson on October 20th.
Oct 6 - 5:28 PM

NC State junior WR Kelvin Harmon caught six passes for 94 yards and a score in a 35-21 victory over Virginia on Saturday.

Harmon and Emeka Emezie both went over 90 yards in this one, and both were able to find the end zone in the relatively easy win. Harmon's score was a 16-yard touchdown from the right arm of Ryan Finley that put the game out of reach, making it 35-14 in the middle of the fourth quarter. The 6-foot-3, 214-pound wideout has already brought in 24 passes for over 400 yards this year, and the score is the first of the year. He'll have a chance to keep it going next Saturday against Boston College.
Sep 29 - 3:56 PM

The Draft Network's Joe Marino believes NC State junior WR Kelvin Harmon is "firmly in the first round conversation."

Marino believes he's "breaking back out at the right time and it needs to continue in ACC play starting next week." Harmon posted stat lines of 8/129/0 and 6/150/0 the past two weeks and has been QB Ryan Finley's No. 1 WR. Marino continues by saying that Harmon has been "showing off his ability to win at the catch point in contested situations." If him and Finley continue to click Harmon could be one of the top receivers off the board in 2019.
Sep 23 - 11:30 AM

NC State junior WR Kelvin Harmon caught eight passes for 129 yards in Saturday's 41-7 win over Georgia State.

Much, much more rock-solid effort from Harmon in this one after he managed just four catches for 33 yards against James Madison in Week 1. The 6-foot-3, 190-pounder rocked a 69-1017-4 receiving line last year. He could be in line for a big game against West Virginia next weekend, in a contest that has plenty of shootout potential.
Sep 8 - 5:03 PM

NC State sophomore WR Kelvin Harmon turned eight catches into 105 yards in a 30-24 loss to Wake Forest on Saturday.

Harmon (6'3/190) has been a breakout star this season for the Wolfpack, and has now gone over triple-digits in yardage six times this year. The next step for the talented sophomore will be getting into the end zone, as he's scored just four times despite approaching a 1,000 yard season. Harmon will likely reach that figure next week against rival North Carolina.

NC State sophomore WR Kelvin Harmon caught eight passes for 155 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 38-31 loss to Clemson.

Stupendous work from Harmon in the narrow defeat. He got NC State off to a fast start, hauling in a 40-yard scoring pass in the opening seconds of the contest to give the Wolfpack an early 7-0 advantage. The 6-foot-3, 190-pounder has surpassed 100 yards receiving in three of his last four games.

NC State sophomore WR Kelvin Harmon caught six passes for 133 yards and a touchdown in a 39-25 victory over Louisville on Thursday.

Harmon (6'3/190) was once again QB Ryan Finley's favorite wideout target, and he rewarded him with another big day. It's the third time this year the sophomore has gone over 100 yards, and his touchdown was a 48-yard score where he adjusted to a slightly underthrown football from Finley and carried a tackler in the end zone. This is one of the more underrated wideouts in the ACC, if not college football.

NC State sophomore WR Kelvin Harmon suffered a minor shoulder injury in Saturday's win over Syracuse.

Harmon (6'3/190) came down on his shoulder in awkward fashion while attempting to haul in a deep pass this past weekend. He missed several snaps after suffering the injury before returning to action. During Monday's press conference, Wolfpack HC Dave Doeren said that the sophomore wideout had suffered a bruise on the play, but is not expected to miss any game action.
