Tennessee redshirt junior DE Darrell Taylor was named the Walter Camp Player of the Week for his performance against Kentucky.
Taylor (6'4/247) made six sacks, which is just the third time a Tennessee player has ever done so, and six tackles. The Volunteers held stud running back Benny Snell to just 81 rushing yards on 20 carries, while holding the passing offense to just 185 yards. The redshirt junior was the main piece to limiting Kentucky's offense to seven points, so this is well deserved. Sun, Nov 11, 2018 03:38:00 PM

Tennessee suspended redshirt sophomore DE Darrell Taylor after a fight in practice where he kicked a teammate.

Taylor struck freshman offensive lineman Trey Smith, who needed to be stitched following the altercation. Taylor was already kicked out of one game this year for fighting on the field. This news comes on the heels of Tennessee coaches and players repeatedly stating the team does not have issues in the locker room.
