Trevor Sikkema of The Draft Network reports that Jordan Ta'amu met with three NFL teams on Wednesday.
Ta'amu has been the talk of Shrine Game practices, and he met with the Carolina Panthers, Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers on Wednesday. All three of those teams have starting quarterbacks entrenched (or reasonably entrenched, anyway), but Ta'amu isn't the type of prospect who is going to be ready for the NFL right away. Based on what we've heard from numerous analysts, there's a real chance that Ta'amu has worked himself into draft consideration. Jan 16 - 6:57 PM

The Draft Network's Trevor Sikkema has been impressed by the first two days of practice put in by Ole Miss QB Jordan Ta'amu at the East-West Shrine Game.

Sikkema thought Ta'amu had the second-best performance of any quarterback on Monday, with only BSU's Brett Rypien impressing to a higher degree in the analyst's eyes. Back at it again on Tuesday. Sikkema passes along that the Ole Miss signal-caller "connect[ed] with a variety of different receivers" on the day, notable in that he has not been leaning on his most familiar target in DeMarkus Lodge. The Dolphins checked in with Ta'amu following Monday's practice.

Trevor Sikkema of The Draft Network reports that Ole Miss QB Jordan Ta'amu met with the Miami Dolphins during Monday's East-West Shrine Game practice.

We're going to have loads of reports on how players performed during the practices -- which mean a lot more than that game -- and also reports of teams meeting with players. It's draft season. The Dolphins don't have an answer at quarterback, and while Ta'amu is viewed as a late-round pick, his ability to make plays with his legs and arm make him an intriguing one. On paper, this is an intriguing fit.

Ole Miss senior QB Jordan Ta'amu accepted an invitation to the East-West Shrine Game.

Ta'amu will certainly be one of -- if not the -- most heavily scouted quarterbacks at the Shrine Game. He threw for 3,918 yards for the Rebels in 2018, and he also ran for for 342 yards and six scores. He certainly has the arm strength and mobility to play at the next level, but he's going to have to show better pocket presence and answer questions about his accuracy. Still, if Ta'amu can test well, he certainly has a chance to be a draftable prospect or high-priority UDFA in 2019.

Ole Miss senior QB Jordan Ta'amu (finger) was able to return to Thursday's 35-3 loss against Mississippi State briefly after having his hand taped, but he checked out for good after he was unable to make his usual throws.

Ta'amu ended up suffering a dislocated finger, but he tried his hardest to return and finish up his collegiate career on the field rather than the sidelines. He ended up completing just 8-of-17 passes for 87 yards, no touchdowns and one interception. The Rebels needed a win against their rival to gain bowl eligibility and fell woefully short. He finished with 3,918 yards passing, 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions on the season.

Ole Miss senior QB Jordan Ta'amu (hand, wrist) left Thursday's game against Mississippi State in the first half after having his hand or wrist area stepped on.

The medical staff was huddled around Ta'amu on the sidelines before he was allowed throw on the side to try and test the injury. Matt Corral came into the game and hit a long bomb to DaMarkus Lodge. Ta'amu doesn't look like he is seriously injured, so he's expected to return.

Ole Miss senior QB Jordan Ta'amu completed 32-of-51 passes for 457 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in Saturday's 36-29 overtime loss to Vanderbilt.

This was a tough loss for the Rebels, who failed to score on their only overtime possession, but it was another big yardage game for Ta'amu. The senior quarterback gets the privilege of throwing the ball to A.J. Brown and DaMarkus Lodge, who combined for 329 yards and two touchdowns, but Ta'amu is a playmaker in his own right. On the season, Ta'amu has averaged 9.7 yards per pass attempt, and he will look to finish off a strong regular season against Mississippi State next week.

Ole Miss senior QB Jordan Ta'amu completed 22-of-35 passes for 373 yard with a score and ran for a touchdown in a 38-24 loss to Texas A&M.

Ta'amu was questionable for this one because of an ankle injury, but it was always likely that the senior was going to play. As we've seen for most of the year, there were flashes of brilliance, but there were also some throws he'll definitely want back, and the ankle likely kept him in the pocket more than he would have liked. Ta'amu and the Rebels will try and end this losing streak next Saturday against Vanderbilt.

Ole Miss senior QB Jordan Ta'amu (ankle) is warming up without issue in advance of Saturday's game against Texas A&M.

Ta'amu dinged up his ankle against South Carolina last weekend, but the expectation was that he would be able to start versus the Aggies. Full-speed ahead.

Ole Miss senior QB Jordan Ta'amu (ankle) is expected to be ready for the Rebels' Nov. 10 game against Texas A&M.

While the senior quarterback is expected to be ready for the game, he will be limited in practice this week. In his most recent action, a 48-44 loss to South Carolina, Ta'amu accounted for 445 yards of offense and one rushing touchdown. His three-game streak of at least one touchdown pass came to an end in the defeat, and Ta'amu will look to begin a new run against a Texas A&M defense that's currently ranked 11th in the SEC in pass defense (243.6 ypg) and 13th in passing touchdowns allowed per game (2.0).

Ole Miss senior QB Jordan Ta'amu completed 31-of-46 passes for 379 yards and ran for 66 yards and a score in a 48-44 loss to South Carolina on Saturday.

For the first three quarter, Ta'amu was brilliant. The fourth quarter, however, left a lot to be desired, and some of that could be because of an injury that caused him to miss two plays late in the game. Even with the struggles at the end, Ta'amu has another huge game on the ground and through the air, and he's established himself as one of the best dual-threats in the country. If only the defense were even respectable. Texas A&M comes next for Ta'amu and the 5-4 Rebels.

Ole Miss senior QB Jordan Ta'amu (undisclosed) returned to Saturday's game against South Carolina after missing two plays due to injury.

Ta'amu departed after being on the receiving end of a late hit, with freshman QB Matt Corral taking over for the following two plays. The senior quarterback's return is good news for Ole Miss, as he threw for 369 yards and rushed for another 76 (and a rushing touchdown) in the first three quarters of Saturday's game.

Ole Miss senior QB Jordan Ta'amu completed 27-of-46 passes for 324 yards with a touchdown and ran for 43 yards in a 31-16 loss to Auburn on Saturday.

After a career game that saw him go for over 500 total yards, Ta'amu wasn't nearly as effective against the Auburn defense. He was still able to put up 340 yards of total offense, but he struggled to get there, especially with accuracy. The senior signal-caller had several throws he'd likely want back, and outside of a 14 yard gain, he was kept in the pocket as well. Ta'amu and Ole Miss get a bye next week before facing off against South Carolina November 3.

Ole Miss senior QB Jordan Ta'amu completed 26-of-35 passes for 387 yards with two touchdowns and interception, and ran for 141 yards and a score in a 37-33 victory over Arkansas on Saturday.

Some of this yardage was out of necessity. Ole Miss trailed 27-10 at one point, and were in danger of blowing out of the water. Ta'amu wasn't having it. He was outstanding -- particularly in the second half -- and Arkansas had no answers over the final 30 minutes for his underrated speed and arm. Take away his ugly efforts against Alabama and LSU, and the senior signal-caller has been outstanding in 2018. A winnable game against Auburn comes up next Saturday.

Ole Miss senior QB Jordan Ta'amu completed 21-of-24 passes for 374 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for 63 yards and two scores in Saturday's 70-21 win over UL-Monroe.

The Warhawks proved completely incapable of slowing down Ole Miss' offense, with Ta'amu accounting for all five of his touchdowns in the first half before ceding the field to freshman backup Matt Corral after halftime. Ta'amu has topped 335 yards passing in four of six games this season. The two games in which he's been shut down this season have understandably come against Alabama and LSU. A road showdown with Arkansas shows next on Ole Miss' schedule.
