Texas junior WR Lil'Jordan Humphrey declared for the 2019 NFL Draft.
Humphrey (6'4/225) heads to the NFL coming off a breakout junior season when he posted an impressive 86-1,176-9 receiving line while averaging 8.8 yards per target. Pro Football Focus gave Humphrey positive grades as a slot receiver, but he's also capable of making contested catches on the perimeter. Draft analysts also like his ability to break tackles and make plays after the catch, so an impressive NFL Combine will round out his draft stock as a Day 2 candidate. Jan 8 - 3:30 PM

No touchdowns for Humphrey, but as has been the case in most every one of Texas' games this season, he made several slick catches. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound junior rocked a breakout 86-1176-9 receiving line for the campaign as a whole. He comes equipped with a palatable frame for pro work and a wicked ability to make contested catches. We shall see if a draft declaration will be forthcoming from Humphrey in the coming days.

Humphrey (6'4/225) also appeared to have a kick return touchdown in the fourth quarter that would have pulled UT within six pending the extra point, but it was called back on a holding call. Humphrey gets overlooked sometimes, but we're big fans of his work. For a player his size, he's unique, with the athleticism to play slot WR and return kicks.

A terrific game. Texas lead 34-17 at one point in the fourth quarter, but the Red Raiders came back and scored 17 unanswered to tie the game with under two minutes left. Humphrey (6'4/225) came down with the biggest play of the game, however, a jump ball touchdown from 29-yards out to give the Longhorns the lead with just 21 seconds left. This is the fourth hundred-yard games for the talented junior, who is blossoming into a star in front of us. The Longhorns move to 7-3, and have a huge matchup next Saturday against Iowa State.

This was Humphrey's third 100-yard showing of the campaign and his second in the last four games. For the campaign, the wideout owns a 55-788-5 receiving line in nine games this season. Texas junior WR Lil'Jordan Humphrey caught four passes for 69 scoreless yards in Saturday's 38-35 loss to Oklahoma State.

Humphrey (6'4/225) was suspended for the first series along with three other Longhorns because they were late to team meetings. Of course, the Texas offense wasn't on the same page in the first half, but quarterback Sam Ehlinger got things going in the second half. Humphrey made a great catch late in the game near the sideline where he used his big frame to stretch out and make a catch for a first down. The talented receiver will be a big part of Texas' passing attack next week against West Virginia.

Texas junior WR Lil'Jordan Humphrey will miss the first series of Saturday's game against Oklahoma State.

Humphrey (6'4/225) is one of three players that won't start because of being late for a team function. He should still see plenty of time against the Cowboys, as he's been one of Sam Ehlinger's top targets in 2018.

That would be Texas' final score of the game before Cameron Dicker nailed a 40-yard game-winning field goal with just seconds left in the contest. Texas HC Todd Herman says junior WR Lil' Jordan Humphrey is a "Swiss Army Knife."

Herman says Humphrey is a "guy that stands out." This sentiment was shared by ESPN's John Trotter in May, so it has been a steady beat for the rising weapon. Humphrey, who is 6-foot-4 and 225-pounds, isn't so Lil' and is someone the Longhorns can use outside, inside, and even out of the backfield. As a compliment to star wideout Colin Johnson, Humphrey is a good bet to improve on his 431 receiving yards from last season.

ESPN's John Trotter lists Texas junior WR Lil' Jordan Humphrey as the standout player for the Longhorns in spring practices.

Humphrey (6'5/225) has shown flashes of brilliance in his time at Texas, but it sounds like he's ready to take a step forward to complement star wideout Colin Johnson. "Whether catching passes on the outside, hauling them in down the seam or taking the ball out of the backfield, Humphrey was making plays everywhere in the spring game," Trotter writes. "His versatility could be a huge component for the Texas offense in the fall."

Texas sophomore WR Lil'Jordan Humphrey is one of three players who has been suspended for the team's Texas Bowl showdown with Missouri on Dec. 27.

Humphrey, Toneil Carter and Garrett Gray will all sit out the bowl suspended due to an unspecified violation of team rules. This season, the 6-foot-4, 222-pounder has caught 38 passes for 439 yards and a touchdown. The slot wideout is second on the team in receiving yardage. Reggie Hemphill-Mapps and Lorenzo Joe will likely see expanded snaps against the Tigers with Humphrey in the doghouse.
