LSU senior TE Foster Moreau accepted an invitation to the Reese's Senior Bowl.
Moreau (6'6/256) has been an inconsistent part of the offense for the Tigers since he enrolled, but there have been flashes of brilliance with LSU, and he had one of his best games last Saturday (5/73/1) against Rice. He's known as a terrific blocker, and there's just enough offensive upside that he could be a Day 3 target for teams; particularly if he plays well in the Senior Bowl and tests well at the combine. LSU senior TE Foster Moreau caught five passes for 73 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 42-10 win over Rice.

Moreau (6'6/256) scored the easiest touchdown of his career tonight after being left wide open right in front of the end zone. The senior tight end has been slowed by injuries this season, but it looks like he is ready to finish the season off right. Moreau is a good enough pass catcher to be an NFL prospect, but it will be his blocking ability that will get him drafted in the 2019 NFL Draft, as long as he tests well at the combine.

LSU HC Ed Orgeron said that senior TE Foster Moreau (undisclosed) has returned to full health.

Moreau (6'6/256) has been handled cautiously in practices this season due to lingering concerns. He's fought through his health issues to catch eight passes for 103 yards. Still looking for his first touchdown, though. The senior will try for that against Georgia on Saturday.

LSU senior TE Foster Moreau (undisclosed) practiced on Tuesday.

Moreau (6'6/256) sat out Monday's practice, but back at it on Tuesday. Unless information surfaces to the contrary, he should be able to suit up against Georgia this coming weekend. He's dealt with injuries throughout the campaign, but has yet to actually sit out a game.

LSU senior TE Foster Moreau (undisclosed) missed Monday's practice.

Moreau (6'6/256) has been playing through lingering injuries this season, but he's played every game. The senior has caught eight passes for 103 scoreless yards as the Tigers' starting tight end. Tyler Shelvin was also missing from practice, but Thaddeus Moss was out there working with the tight ends.

LSU senior TE Foster Moreau was absent from practice on Wednesday.

LSU opens their season on just Sunday against No. 8 Miami, so the absence is somewhat concerning. It is unclear to this point why Moreau was absent from the portion of practice available to media. Just yesterday, the Tigers listed Moreau as their starting tight end for this weekend's game. Moreau (6'6/256) caught 24 passes for 278 yards and three scores last year. Thaddeus Moss -- who also was absent from practice -- and Jacory Washington would step in if Moreau misses time.

247Sports' Sonny Shipp expects a "big season" from LSU senior TE Foster Moreau.

Shipp points to the fact that OC Steve Ensminger is a former tight ends coach. When he served as interim head coach following the firing of Les Miles in 2016, the analyst notes, LSU's tight ends saw an uptick of work. It could portend good things for the 6-foot-6, 255-pound Moreau. This past season, the then-junior logged a 24-278-3 receiving line. In LSU's hum-drum passing offense, the receptions total was good for second-best on the team while the touchdown total tied for the team lead.
