Georgia senior LB D'Andre Walker accepted an invitation to play in the Reese's Senior Bowl.
Walker (6'3/251) has been one of the stalwarts of Georgia's resurgence into a power the last two years, and ranks as one of the best pass-rushers at the outside linebacker position in the class. There are some concerns about whether nor not he's a "tweener" because of his size, but he'll likely get a chance to play in coverage in Mobile. If he does well there -- or shows signs that he can handle it -- it'll be a big boost for his draft stock. Dec 5 - 5:17 PM

Georgia senior LB D'Andre Walker (undisclosed) practiced on Tuesday.

Walker (6'3/251) was injured in Saturday's upset loss to LSU. Looks like it might be no great shakes, there, as The Athletic's Seth Emerson passes along that the senior linebacker "look[ed] fine" during Tuesday's practice session. If Walker has any issues later in the week, we'll pass along word. The Bulldogs are currently off on bye -- they'll play Florida in two weekends -- giving him plenty of time to rest up.

The Draft Network's Jon Ledyard lists Georgia senior LB D'Andre Walker as one of the players whose stock rose after his performance on Saturday against Missouri.

Walker (6'3/251) was a beast who had no issue getting to the quarterback in the win over the Tigers, picking up two sacks and forcing two fumbles. The performance is even more impressive when you consider it came against an offensive line that generally receives plaudits, as Ledyard notes. "[Walker's] rush plan seems to have developed some, converting speed-to-power and transitioning to half-man at a better rate than he did a year ago," he writes. If Walker is able to keep this up, he's going to be tough to pass on, even if he does get the "tweener" label from some.

NFL Media's Lance Zierlein lists Georgia senior LB D'Andre Walker fourth on his list of top college linebackers to watch in 2018.

Walker was a big part of the Georgia defense as a junior, registering 5.5 sacks and 13.5 tackles for loss. What's most impressive about those numbers is that they came as a part-time player, as Zierlein notes. "Walker will finally get his chance to be a starter as he enters his senior season, but he is definitely on the radar of NFL scout," Zierlein writes. "Walker carries 251 pounds with ease on his athletic frame and he possesses the athletic ability to drop into coverage or even bump to inside linebacker from time to time." Zierlein also notes that Walker needs to add "sophistication" to his pass-rush moves, and improve his play strength. If he can, he'll be one of the most intriguing pass-rush options in the 2019 draft.

Georgia senior LB D'Andre Walker said that "I feel like I can play every down."

Walker (6'3/240) is in line to continue the outside-linebacking lineage that's been established in Athens via the likes of Davin Bellamy, Lorenzo Carter, Jordan Jenkins and Leonard Floyd in recent years. He admitted this spring that he had issues staying disciplined as a young player and had developed bad habits as a true freshman which Bulldogs HC Kirby Smart has worked to help him iron out over the past two seasons. In 2017, Walker posted 39 tackles (13.5 for loss) and 5.5 sacks.
