Notre Dame junior CB Julian Love (undisclosed) was taken to the injury tent during the fourth quarter of Saturday's game against Florida State.
Love walked off of the field slowly after being injured, with team trainers taking him directly to the injury tent. The junior cornerback has been outstanding this season, and his status is something to keep an eye on with the Fighting Irish's next game being a November 17 matchup with Syracuse at Yankee Stadium. Notre Dame will meet more resistance in that game than it did against Florida State, and they'll need "all hands on deck" for the Orange. Nov 10 - 10:32 PM

ESPN's Mel Kiper believes Notre Dame junior CB Julian Love could be a No. 1 corner in the NFL.

He calls Love one of the 2019 NFL Draft's most underrated prospects because Love's size (5'11/189) has caused him to get downgraded by evaluators. Kiper points to Love's coverage chops -- he has 12 breakups already this year -- and his tacking ability. "It wouldn't shock me if he's one of the top corners off the board in Round 1," Kiper wrote.

Athlon Sports named Notre Dame junior CB Julian Love a preseason third-team All-American.

Love (5'11/189) as intriguing potential declaree for the draft after the season. He's developed into a true lockdown corner through his first two years in South Bend. During the most recent campaign, the junior posted 68 tackles, three interceptions and 20 passes defended. Two of his three picks were returned for touchdowns.
