UCF junior DT Trysten Hill declared for the 2019 NFL Draft.
Hill (6'2/325) registered 36 tackles (10.5 for loss) and three sacks during the 2018 campaign. He had a somewhat uneven final year with the Knights, as the coaching transition between Scott Frost and Josh Heupel was one which he struggled with, to the point where he was seriously kicking around a transfer last spring. While Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline was not always impressed by his work this past season, he grades Hill as UCF's best draft-eligible prospect, stamping him with a fourth-round evaluation as we head into the draft process in earnest. Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline lists UCF junior DT Trysten Hill as the top draft prospect on the Knights roster for 2018.

Hill has been an impact player for the Knights since enrolling at the school, and draft experts like Pauline have taken notice. "...Hill is a big-bodied defender who easily moves his large frame around the field and disrupts the action," writes Pauline. "He takes up a lot of room in the middle of the field but needs to improve his hand technique and get a little stronger to complete his game." He gives the 6-foot-2, 325-pound defender a fourth-round grade, so a big season could see the defender became a Day Two selection.
