Boston College senior DL Wyatt Ray accepted an invitation to the East-West Shrine Game.
Ray didn't get the hubbub that fellow defensive lineman Zach Allen did, but he did have a solid 2018 season with nine sacks and 11.5 tackles for loss. The Draft Network's Brad Kelly noted that he has "solid bend and burst" and the 6-foot-3, 255-pound edge-rusher has solid size for an edge-rusher. We're intrigued to see what kind of reports Ray comes out with after the practices and games. Mon, Dec 17, 2018 02:57:00 PM

The Draft Network's Brad Kelly came away impressed with Boston College senior DL Wyatt Ray after his play against Wake Forest on Thursday.

It was easy to come away impressed, to be fair, as Ray had four sacks in the victory over the Demon Deacons. The 6-foot-3, 255-pound defender was able to beat the Wake FOrest offensive line from both sides of the line -- as Kelly notes -- and Kelly notes that he showed "solid bend and burst." He also noted Ray's impressive size (6'3/255) for an edge-rusher, and his ability to beat defenders with hand swipes as well as a quick first step. Zach Allen and Lukas Denis get most of the hype, but Ray gives the Eagles another potential NFL defender.
