Oregon junior T Calvin Throckmorton is Pro Football Focus' No. 5 graded offensive tackle through the first 13 weeks of the season.
PFF hands Throckmorton a 92.3 grade for his pass blocking, which is fourth best among offensive tackles, but he's also a capable run blocker checking in at No. 7 in the country. It's high honors for the junior who was tasked in protected potential top-five pick QB Justin Herbert this season. Throckmorton (6'6/318) is draft eligible, but there is no word on if he will leave after a quality junior season. The other offensive tackles in PFF's top-five are: 1) Alabama's Jonah Williams, 2) Ohio's Joe Lowery, 3) Wisconsin's Cole Van Lanen, and 4) Kansas State's Dalton Risner. Dec 2 - 9:30 AM

Pro Football Focus lists Oregon junior T Calvin Throckmorton as one of the players who has seen his stock rise over the first half of 2018.

Throckmorton is one of the most experienced lineman on the Ducks, and he's seen improvement each year as both a pass and run blocker for Oregon. He's been particularly impressive in pass pro; allowing just two pressures on 161 attempts in 2018. "He’s improved his run-blocking grade to 75.5 this season and his natural power at the point of attack allows him to create impressive movement for Oregon’s run game," they write. A great test for the 6-foot-5, 318-pound tackle comes this Saturday against Washington.
