Ohio State senior RB Jordan Hall has been granted a medical redshirt for this season and will return in 2013.

Hall missed the beginning of the season after a foot laceration that required surgery during the offseason. Then, the senior partially tore his PCL and just couldn't "heal well" according to head coach Urban Meyer. Hall was expected to play the versatile Percy Harvin role in the Buckeyes offense.

Ohio State senior RB Jordan Hall re-injured his knee and head coach Urban Meyer said that redshirting for the remainder of the season is a possibility.

Hall has had a rough year. This summer, Hall cut his foot in a freak accident and missed a large portion of preseason camp. Then, after seeing a hefty amount of carries in tow games, Hall injures his knee against Michigan State and has failed to recover since. Meyer had planned to use Hall in a Percy Harvin type role.

Ohio State senior RB Jordan Hall has started to jog but is "not healing well" according to head coach Urban Meyer.

Hall has missed about two weeks with a partial tear of his PCL, and it appears he will miss even more time. The Buckeyes continue to have injuries in their backfield but have leaned on junior Carlos Hyde the past few weeks. Regardless, sophomore quarterback Braxton Miller will draw the defense's attention more than any other ball carrier.

Ohio State senior RB Jordan Hall is listed as week to week with a partial tear of his PCL, and is doubtful for Saturday's game against Nebraska.

Hall stepped in three weeks ago as the starter and head coach urban Meyer has said the senior is lining up in the Percy Harvin role as a hybrid running back and receiver. He missed a couple games early in the season after offseason foot surgery, but Hall has managed 218 rushing yards in just over two games played, on 5.5 yards per carry.

Ohio State senior RB Jordan Hall will not return to Saturday's game against michigan State after suffering a right knee injury.

Hall had six carries for 26 yards and a touchdown to go along with one receptions for ten yards on the day prior to leaving with an injury. This was the first time Hall and fellow running back Carlos Hyde had been healthy at the same time, so it appears the Buckeyes will ride with Hyde for the remainder of the game.

Ohio State senior RB Jordan Hall will be out for the next ten weeks after a cut on his right foot required surgery.

Hall had been considered Ohio State's starting running back this spring. The cut happened while walking barefoot outside of his residence. The Buckeyes open up fall practice in around five weeks, so Hall will obviously miss the start of camp. Junior Carlos Hyde, sophomore Rod Smith and freshman Bri'onte Dunn could take over in Hall's absence.

In assessing the running game, coach Urban Meyer says he does not know who will carry the ball and that Jordan Hall is a "competitor" that should be better statistically than he has been.

Hall has rushed for 814 yards in a three-year career that has been marred by an NCAA suspension and injuries. His senior season essentially starts March 28 when the Buckeyes take the field for spring drills. Meyer has a lot to sort out at the position, but he has praised Hall for his off-season dedication while also wondering why his efforts have not resulted in better numbers.

Ohio State coach Luke Fickell says that running back Jordan Hall is expected to play Saturday.

An ankle sprain that forced Hall to the sideline for last week’s game against Indiana has healed to the point the junior should be ready to go Saturday at Purdue. The return of starter Dan Herron from suspension on Oct. 15 opened up the running game. He and the Buckeyes’ leading rusher, Carlos Hyde, both topped 100 yards against the Hoosiers. With Hall’s return, Flickell has a full back field and some options to play with. Hall has 330 yards and 2 TDs.

Ohio State running back Jordan Hall (ankle) is not likely to play Saturday against Indiana.

With Dan Herron back in the fold the last couple weeks, Hall’s probable loss against the Hoosiers would be a depth concern. Jamal Berry is suspended indefinitely after being charged with assault. That would leave Carlos Hyde (408 yards ) as Herron’s backup. Hall has 330 yards this season and, along with Hyde, filled in nicely for the suspended Herron earlier this season.

Fresh off serving his NCAA suspension Jordan Hall recorded 87 yards on 14 carries, including a long of 15 yards.

Offensive coordinator Jim Bollman stayed true to gameplan, involving Hyde and Carlos Hall in the majority of offensive plays. Hall should continue to improve as he gets more acclimated to the offense this season, but all signs point to this being a timeshare going forward. Hyde posted 169 yards on 24 carries and two touchdowns in Hall's absence this season.

Reinstated by the NCAA after serving a suspension, Ohio State junior running back Jordan Hall is expected to see significant playing time against Miami.

Between suspensions and injuries, offensive coordinator Jim Bollman has had largely an inexperienced group to work with through the first two weeks. He won’t complain, though. He has kids to coach and an offense to build. At least he gets Hall for the first time this season. OSU had only 112 yards on the ground last week against Toledo.

Ohio State running back Jordan Hall and two teammates were reinstated by the NCAA on Tuesday and are eligible to play Saturday against Miami.

Hall, who has 409 rushing yards in two seasons, was forced to sit out the first two games. He was going to be the centerpiece of the Buckeyes running game until Dan Herron returned. Herron is serving a five-game suspension resulting from NCAA infractions. Hall got into trouble himself for accepting cash at a charity event and was suspended.

Junior running back Jordan Hall among three Ohio State players suspended for Saturday's opener as a result of receiving improper benefits.

As if there were not enough problems in Columbus, suspensions continue to be dished out right up to opening weekend. Hall, who would have made his first career start against Akron, has rushed for 409 career yards. He may have to wait to add to that total while the school appeals the NCAA for reinstatement after the opener.
