Senior quarterback for the Michigan State Spartans, Brian Hoyer, looked fantastic against the Michigan Wolverines this afternoon, passing for 282 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-21 win on the road.
Today's performance was by far the best that Hoyer has put together this year; with the exception of the debacle against Ohio State last week, Hoyer has played solidly since MSU had a convincing win on the road against the Indiana Hoosiers. Sat, Oct 25, 2008 09:15:00 PM

Michigan State starting quarterback, Brian Hoyer, did not start the second half of today's game with the Ohio State Buckeyes as the senior injured his right hand during the first; Hoyer eventually returned in the fourth quarter, but is scheduled for a concussion test Sunday, reports ESPN

Kirk Cousins played respectably in Hoyer's place, finishing the day with 161 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. Keep checking back to identify whether or not Hoer might be back next week against in-state rivals, the Michigan Wolverines.

Starting quarterback for the Michigan State Spartans, Brian Hoyer, finally got an opportunity to do more than just hand off to star running back Javon Ringer today against Indiana. Ringer still had a big day, but Hoyer took to the air against a soft Indiana secondary and grabbed 262 yards and two touchdowns on the day.

Michigan State showed that it had more balance than most thought today, as both Ringer and Hoyer had big days. Again, there were still far too many drops by MSU receivers, but Hoyer looked much better today than at any other point in the season thus far.
