Minnesota wide receiver Eric Decker  has been ruled out for the rest of the regular season due to a sprained arch in his foot.  Coach Tim Brewster hopes to have Decker back for a bowl game, but he also may need surgery.

This is a big blow for the Gophers' offense.  They'll need to come up with a new game plan this week against Michigan State, which could involve utilizing athletic quarterback MarQueis Gray more.

Minnesota coach Tim Brewster says wide receiver Eric Decker is day-to-day with a sprained foot.  However, Brewster doesn't sound confident Decker will be ready for Michigan State on Saturday. "Again, a sprained foot, for a receiver, I don't know how that's going to be to recover from," Weber said.  "It's tough to have to stick your foot in the ground, do the things wide receivers have to do."

At this point we would consider Decker highly questionable.  Don't be surprised if the Gophers center their game plan around the athletic quarterback MarQueis Gray this weekend.

Six inches of snow has forced Penn State officials to close tailgating before Saturday's game against Minnesota.

While the snow is expected to lighten up by kickoff, it could make for a slick and sloppy track.  The crowd might be a little more subdued as well as the Yuengling consumption will be down.
