Moved to tailback this off-season to see more touches, diminutive LSU speedster Trindon Holliday is working on all aspects of the position, including pass protection and running inside.

LSU clearly realizes the benefits to playing such a speedster, though the team wants to make it less obvious that when Holliday enters the game he's going to get the ball and take it outside.  Charles Scott is still the workhorse, and Holliday will see his touches in a variety of ways.  However he'll in no way make a large enough impact to become a serious fantasy factor...but he sure is fun to watch play.

Trindon Holliday worked out with the LSU running backs yesterday, and this was contrary to rumors (referenced by James Varney of The Times-Picayune) that the speedster would turn professional in track.

Coach Les Miles is banking on Holliday being a part of the offense in 2009, though fantasy owners will want to bank on someone else in their backfield. This LSU speed demon doesn't produce with enough consistency.
