Missouri expects DE Aldon Smith (leg) to return to the lineup this weekend against Oklahoma. Smith has been off the field for about a month.

Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops once again had to address rumors that he could be a consideration for the open Notre Dame job.  "I fully intend to be at Oklahoma, hopefully, for a good while," Stoops said Monday. "What I'm saying is I'm going to be at Oklahoma next year. I can't be in two places at once."

While you can never fully trust everything that is said during this time of year, there seems no plausible reason to believe Stoops would head to Notre Dame.

Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford underwent successful surgery on his right (throwing) shoulder on Wednesday.

Bradford's next stop is the NFL draft, where we wish him the best of luck.

Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford issued a release stating that he will have surgery on his shoulder this week and that he'll enter the NFL Draft in April. Though, as The Oklahoman states, Bradford entering the draft is contingent upon successful surgery.

The Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback returned to school only to find injuries turn 2009 into a nightmare. We all hope the surgery goes well and that Bradford has a long and lucrative career on Sundays.

Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford has canceled a news conference scheduled for 6:30pm ET to discuss his injured right shoulder.

ESPN's Joe Schad is reporting that sources have told him there is a "very good chance" Bradford will have season ending surgery.  At this point surgery seems like the most likely decision, but Bradford needs more time to weigh his options.

Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford (shoulder) has been ruled out versus Kansas this week.  "I think the fair thing to say is right now, he's not going to play this week," Bob Stoops said.

With Bradford out, Landry Jones will get the start.  Jones, who has 10 touchdowns in his three starts, is a decent fantasy start if you're looking for a quarterback this week.

Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops announced that quarterback Sam Bradford's status won't be known until possibly Thursday.

This has the look of a longer term injury, but we'll wait for further news.

Sam Bradford is feeling good after coming back last week from a shoulder injury. “I'm back, aren't I?” Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford said . “I felt good (Saturday). I felt extremely good after the game. My arm strength is back. Mentally, I'm still getting back into it. I feel I've improved every day, as I did before the injury. I feel good.”

Texas will provide a stiff test for the Sooners this weekend, but the rest of the schedule sets up well for Bradford to post big numbers.

Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford, who has been on the sidelines since early in the season after an AC injury to his throwing shoulder, will be back in action on Saturday against Baylor, this according to The Oklahoman.

It will be interesting to see if reserve quarterback Landry Jones will see any time on the field, but it is expected that once the Heisman Trophy winning Bradford is back, he will not relinquish that role. "Sam has had a great week of practice and is ready to play," Bob Stoops said. "We're obviously excited to have him back."

"To this point, it's been positive," Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops said after practice Wednesday night regarding quarterback Sam Bradford (shoulder). "But I don't want to speculate until we see more tomorrow."

Bradford has been throwing in practice but he is clearly not 100 percent or a decision would have been made by now.
