It seems like the world has been waiting for Donald Buckram to see some significant carries and, while he did play against Rice, Buckram only carried the ball nine times for 47 yards and no scores.

Until Buckram is fully healthy and the team is ready to give him a full workload, you may want to stay away from starting him.

UTEP practice was closed on Wednesday, but it does not appear that running back Donald Buckram participated in drills. Buckram says he will play but coach Mike Price says he is unsure and is once again a "game-time decision".

The more practice time Buckram misses, the less and less he's looking like a good start this week.  Buckram is a high risk/high reward play.

UTEP running back Donald Buckram sat out practice on Tuesday. Buckram says his knee was a little sore after last Saturday's game, but should be ready to go this week against New Mexico.

Buckram has a tasty matchup this week against a rushing defense that ranks 112th in the country.  The question is will his knee allow him to get into the 20 carry range?

So we finally got to see Donald Buckram back on the field and all he was able to muster was 59 yards rushing on 13 carries while adding three catches for 15 yards.

If Buckram was going to have a big performance, Memphis seemed like the perfect chance.  Give him some time though to see if he can return to form.
