Kyle Reifers bagged nine points with a 4-under-par 34-34=68 during the final round of the Barracuda Championship, closing out the week with 30 points, currently good for T7 on the live leaderboard.

The Wake Forest product missed just one fairway in his final navigation of Montrêux Golf and Country Club this week. From there he was able to attack the pins, converting three of five birdies from inside five feet. The others were a 19'1" birdie roll at the par-3 third and a 22'11" hole out from the rough on the par-4 12th hole. For the week he tallied 18 birdies and an eagle. Reifers doesn't have the longest track record in Reno but he's now posted back-to-back top 10s here (solo second last year).
Jul 3 - 8:56 PM

Kyle Reifers orchestrated a 5-under-par 32-34=66 during round one of the Quicken Loans National to throw his name right in the mix following a 135-minute weather delay in the morning.

Reifers took full advantage of preferred lies by splitting 11 (of 14) fairways. From there he gained 2.82 strokes over the field in his approach game, landing 13 greens in regulation. It wasn't a perfect round, though, as he squared back-to-back bogeys at Nos. 13 and 14 early on in the round. Both bogeys came via missed GIRs and missed par-saving attempts from inside seven feet. Reifers offset the bogeys with seven birdies. His first visit to Congressional Country Club led to rounds of 75-77 (MC, 2012), but he's off to a much better start this time around.
Jun 23 - 2:48 PM

Kyle Reifers returns to his old stomping grounds as he preps for this week's Memorial in Dublin, Ohio.

Reifers arrives in great form, posting a fifth-place finish at last week's DEAN & DELUCA and a T10 the week prior (AT&T Byron Nelson). He's playing well, and now he gets to play at a venue he knows like the back of his hand. Reifers grew up caddying at Muirfield Village Golf Club. As a pro, he's appeared here three times, posting a T25 in 2012 but missing the cut in 2007 and 2015. Given his current form and knowledge of the course, Reifers makes for a very interesting sleeper this week.

Kyle Reifers finished off his fifth DEAN & DELUCA Invitational with a 2-under-par 33-35=68 and a 72-hole aggregate of 12-under 268, down one place to solo fifth, a personal best at Colonial CC, supplanting T13 in 2012.

The 32-year-old began the final round in a three-way T4 on 10-under, two back of 54-hole leader and eventual champ Jordan Spieth. He circled four, including three straight on the Horrible Horseshoe (holes 3-5), to outpace bogeys on two and 18. The lost shot at the last dropped him out of a would-be three-way T3. For the week, Reifers circled 19 birdies against seven bogeys and was No. 1 in greens in regulation at 81.94 percent (59/72), 15 in the finale. The Ohio native rebounded for four birdies and a bogey-free inward 31, circling Nos. 2, 4, 7 and 8, three from four feet and in with a long of 26'9" at the par-3 fourth.
May 28 - 11:38 AM

Reifers striped 11 (of 14) fairways and landed 14 greens in regulation. His lone blemish of the round came at the par-4 ninth hole when he found bunker trouble off the tee and left himself with 83 yards after two shots. It wasn't all ball-striking for the Wake Forest product, as he dialed in his putter from long distance coming into the clubhouse. First, it was a 53'10" birdie bomb at the par-4 14th hole and then closed out his round with a 36'1" birdie at the par-4 18th hole. This goes in the books as his lowest round at Colonial Country Club since an opening round 65 in 2012. He went on to finish T13 that week.

The 32-year-old, chasing his maiden title in his 114th career start, erased bogey-4 at five with birdies at Nos. 1, 7 and 8 to climb into a four-way T2 at the break, but came home in birdie-less 2-over, swallowing a costly double bogey-6 at the 12th. The 32-year-old split 11 (of 14) fairways and posted 3.863 strokes gained: tee-to-green at the time he signed his card. He's the current leader in the latter with a cumulative 10.227.

The Wake Forest product traded one bogey with one birdie on the back nine before making the turn on the cut line (2-under) for the week. His round picked up when he stuffed his par-3 tee shot to nine inches for a tap-in birdie at Hole No. 2. He added another birdie at the par-4 fourth but really made a dent on the par-5 seventh hole. It was here that he stuck his 240-yard approach shot to 7'7" and rolled it in for an eagle. Reifers would add a walk-off birdie at the par-4 ninth for good measure. After starring down the cut line at the turn, Reifers is now T8 on the live leaderboard and in great position entering the weekend.
May 20 - 12:53 PM

Kyle Reifers crafted a final-round 2-under-par 35-35=70 to wrap his fourth Shell Houston Open appearance on 10-under 278, good for a three-way tie for seventh place and his first top 10 since a T6 at the season-opening Frys.com back in October.

Pencil Reifers down for this tournament next year. He's posted progressively better finishes of T49/2007; T21/2012; T11/2015 and T7 this year. The Columbus, Ohio, native finished five in arrears to the champion from Cincinnati, Ohio, Jim Herman. He began the finale in a three-way tie for seventh and that's where he ended after a five-birdie three-bogey showing. The 32-year-old opened birdie-birdie but gave them back with back-to-back bogeys on five and six.
