Kyle Reifers has secured each of his five cuts to start the 2014-15 PGA TOUR campaign.
The Wake Forest product is 64th in the FedExCup standings and well on his way towards retaining his card for the first time in his career. His best finish, and only top 25, is a T14 at the Sanderson Farms Championship. Expect him to get plenty of starts on the West Coast Swing, as he's 10th in the Web.com Tour reshuffle. Kyle Reifers charged up the leaderboard in the third round of the Sanderson Farms Championship with a 5-under-par 34-33=67.

Reifers began his day on the back nine at the Country Club of Jackson and spread six birdies across the layout, dropping just one bogey. He experienced a hot day with the irons and the putter, landing 15 GIR and gaining over three strokes with the flat stick. He is subject to the Web.com Tour reshuffle this season, and has made each of his first four cuts of the season including this week. His best finish thus far is a T39 at the Frys.com Open.
Nov 8 - 3:09 PM

Kyle Reifers submitted a 4-under-par 33-35=68 for his opening round of the Frys.com Open, finishing two strokes behind the overnight co-leaders.

Reifers striped nine (of 14) fairways and totaled 15 greens in regulation en route to six birdies at Silverado Resort and Spa's North Course today. Three of his par breakers stretched 12-15 feet. He also swallowed two bogeys, including a three-putt from 55 feet at the par-3 second hole, but this is a worthy first round of the season for the journeyman who will celebrate his 31st birthday on Monday the 13th.
Oct 9 - 9:39 PM

Kyle Reifers is a veteran of 62 PGA TOUR events and is fully exempt again in 2014-15.

Reifers secured three top-six finishes in the Web.com Tour regular season and added a T4 in the Chiquita Classic. All that adds up to 35th place in the opening reshuffle. The Wake Forest product will turn 31 on October 13th, meaning he is likely entering the peak of his career. He will have some semblance of familiarity on his side, so he could be worth a hard look in deep formats.
Oct 1 - 3:47 PM

Kyle Reifers crafted an 8-under-par 31-33=64 in the second round of the BMW Charity Pro-Am to join Trevor Murphy in the lead at 12-under 132.

Reifers began his day on the 10th hole at Green Valley CC, immediately five birdies on his first seven holes. He would trade a bogey following a short miss on the par-3 17th with a birdie on the par-4 18th. Turning his attention towards the front nine, he would add birdies on the first, sixth and ninth holes. The Wake Forest product landed an impressive 15 GIR and putted to a 1.467 average. He will try and tame Thornblade Club in the third round.
May 16 - 10:04 PM

Kyle Reifers spun a bogey-free 5-under-par 33-33=66 in the third round of the Chitimacha Louisiana Open and leads by a stroke at 12-under 201 with 18 to play.

The Wake Forest product picked up three birdies on the front nine and two on the back, with three of those coming on par 5s. The putter has been a key to his week, ranking fourth in putting average at 1.634. Reifers has one win in 140 previous Web.com Tour events. It came way back in 2006 at the Chattanooga Classic in the first start of his career. Needless to say, he's yet to fulfill what was enormous early potential.
Mar 29 - 6:21 PM

Kyle Reifers fired a 6-under-par 31-34=65 in the first round of the Chitimacha Louisiana Open and joined Ryan Blaum in a share of the lead.

Like Blaum, Reifers also began his round on the 10th hole. The Wake Forest product was without a blemish on the back nine, rolling in four birdies. He added four more birdies on the front nine, but also allowed two bogeys to creep their way onto the card. Ball-striking was a key, as he landed 16 GIR and missed just three fairways, but a 1.50 putting average wasn't too shabby either. All told, he ended the day ranked inside the top three in driving accuracy, GIR, sand saves and putting average. That will play anywhere.
Mar 27 - 9:07 PM

Kyle Reifers submitted a 3-under-par 34-35=69 at Hidden Valley Country Club in Reno, Nev., at today's open qualifier for the Reno-Tahoe Open, two strokes too many to join the playoff for the final berth into the tournament proper.

He opened with an eagle-3 at the first hole and picked up three birdies along the way, but also squared two bogeys. After sneaking his way into the field at Annandale two weeks ago via his spot in the 151-200 range on the 2012 PGA TOUR money list, he tied for fifth to parlay the fortune into a start in Canada where he missed the cut by three. Other notables that failed to qualify for the RTO include: 68--Zack Miller ... 69--Brad Adamonis; Bio Kim; Ken Looper (two-time four-spotter in 2013) ... 70--Andre Stolz; Craig Barlow ... 71--Paul Stankowski; Cliff Kresge; Todd Fischer; Justin Peters ... 72--Marc Turnesa; Andrew Buckle; Zack Fischer (three-time four-spotter in 2013) ... 73--Jonathan Randolph ... 74--Peter Lonard ... 77--Jeff Quinney.

Kyle Reifers has been added to the published field of this week's RBC Canadian Open.

This is quite a little fortnight for the former PGA TOUR member. After a long-shot appearance at the Sanderson Farms Championship, he rallied for a T5. That secured a tee time at Glen Abbey this week via the top 10. Everything at this point is gravy; in fact, it was last week. He's 0-for-2 at the Canadian Open, but hasn't played this week's host track in competition.

Kyle Reifers spun a 2-under-par 35-35=70 in the final round of the Sanderson Farms Championship to nab a top-10 finish at 17-under 271.

Reifers has focused much of his attention in 2013 on the Web.com Tour, but decided to take a week off and compete in Mississippi. It will leave him with quite the decision as to his schedule next week. This top 10 allows him to compete in the RBC Canadian Open, but he's also in the field for the Albertsons Boise Open on the Web.com Tour. He's also in no man's land, outside the top 75 (and 100 for that matter) on the Web.com Tour and probably a little shy of the top 200 FedExCup equivalent on the PGA TOUR. It will be interesting to see which path he follows as he tries to gain a spot in the four-tournament playoff for a 2013-14 PGA TOUR card.

Kyle Reifers continued his fine play at the Sanderson Farms Championship with a bogey-free 5-under-par 34-33=67, sharing third at 15-under 201.

Reifers was bogey-free for the second consecutive round at Annandale GC. In fact, he's made just one bogey all week. That came in his fourth hole of the tournament. His 90.74 percent GIR leads the tournament, and he converted all but one of his approaches into birdie bids in the third stanza. Add to that, he's ninth in strokes gained-putting. It's a wonder he isn't a regular contender anywhere he tees it up with splits like this.

Kyle Reifers smoothed a bogey-free, 3-under-par 36-33=69 in his second round of the Sanderson Farms Championship to elbow his way as the fifth to share the 36-hole clubhouse lead at 10-under 134.

Given that the field was playing lift, clean and place in the second round, that he converted on just three birdies after standing over 16 opportunities has to feel a bit like a letdown. Nevertheless, he could be in much worse position heading into the weekend. Overall, his ball-striking is outstanding. He's split 23 (of 28) fairways and hit 32 greens in regulation.

Kyle Reifers toured Annandale Golf Club in his opening round of the Sanderson Farms Championship in 7-under-par 32-33=65.

Thankful to be in the field for his rank on the 2012 money list (154th), the two-time former PGA TOUR member split 13 (of 14) fairways and hit 16 greens in regulation in his lid-lifter. The assault led to eight birdies against just one bogey. He reached the clubhouse two strokes in arrears of the 18-hole lead.

Kyle Reifers has been added to the published field of this week's Sanderson Farms Championship.

He sat outside the first 20 alternates for this tournament, but gained entry due to two withdrawals today. Reifers finished 154th on the PGA TOUR money list in 2012. Once all of the golfers in the Beyond 150 Reshuffle are exhausted, those that ranked 151-200 in earnings from the previous season are called upon to fill fields. It used to be that this priority ranking was used only once over several years, but we've seen it come into play 2-3 times in recent seasons. Reifers tied for 54th at Colonial in May and ranks 231st in non-member FedExCup points. He's currently 118th in earnings on the Web.com Tour.
