D.H. Lee has entered the field at the Farmers Insurance Open. UPDATE: Lee has since withdrawn from the tournament. Scott Gardiner has also withdrawn as an alternate.
Lee was the fifth alternate when the field was released on Friday afternoon. He was one of three to gain entry following the latest wave of withdrawals. He has three starts on a Minor Medical Extension to earn $573,703 or 344.150 FedExCup points and a promotion to the Major Medical category. In his last three starts, Lee tied for eighth in an event in his native Korea in October. He then placed T21 at Tour Q School in December. Finally, he tied for 59th in Panama on Sunday in the season opener on the Tour. While he has no long-term fantasy value at the moment, Lee could be a sneaky play in DFS this week given modest recent form and a 2-for-2 slate at Torrey Pines. Feb 2 - 12:55 PM

D.H. Lee still has status on the PGA TOUR via a Minor Medical Extension.

Lee was fully exempt in 2013-14, but was limited to 20 starts by a neck injury. He cashed only eight times, just once for a top 50. If he earns $573,703 or 344.150 FedExCup points through three starts, he'll be promoted to the Major Medical category. While he played regularly down the stretch, including going 1-for-4 in the Tour Finals with a solo 72nd at the Chiquita Classic, the 27-year-old is not an advised fantasy option.

D.H. Lee opened the Barracuda Championship with a 5-under-par 35-32=67 worth 11 points.

No need to stop us; we know you're read it before. Lee exchanged six birdies with one bogey at Montrêux Golf and Country Club today. Three of his birdies occurred on the par 5s; he squared his bogey on the other (No. 13). He'll wake up on Friday sitting seven points adrift of Nick Watney's overnight lead.

D.H. Lee crafted a 5-under-par 33-33=66 in the third round of the John Deere Classic to post 9-under 204 through 54 holes.

Lee was unusually hot on his lap around TPC Deere Run, circling seven birdies to just two bogeys thanks in part to preferred lies following overnight rain. He began his day on the 10th hole and quickly got on the board with a 13'7" birdie at the par-4 11th. Other highlights included birdies from 10'3", 14'5" and 19'1" on the 16th, fifth and sixth holes. Lee ranks 223rd in the FedExCup standings and hasn't finished any better than T58 at the Valspar Championship, so this week is setting up to be his best of the season.

D.H. Lee shot a 2-over-par 35-38=73 in his opening round of the Quicken Loans National.

After six weeks off following a shoulder injury that forced him out of THE PLAYERS after 20 holes, Lee hit 13 greens in regulation, but holed just one attempt and that needed to drop from 32'4" at the par-3 13th hole. He also squared three bogeys and finished seven strokes off the clubhouse lead. If you own the PGA TOUR sophomore in a format that rewards success, it might be time to look into another fantasy sport.

D.H. Lee is listed in the published field of next week's Quicken Loans National.

If he honors the commitment, Lee would be competing for the first time since he withdrew during his second round of THE PLAYERS with a shoulder injury. He emerged with a career-best T3 at Congressional last year, but his sophomore season has been a loss with just four paydays in 14 starts and zero top-55 finishes.

D.H. Lee has been removed from the published field of this week's HP Byron Nelson Championship.

Not a surprise given he had to stop after 20 holes into last week's PLAYERS with a shoulder injury. While he may or may not have been dealing with this for some time -- we don't know -- he may have reached the point of the season to perhaps shut it down for an extended period of time and think about applying for a medical extension for 2014-15. Lee is 221st in the FedExCup standings, so he's not even eligible for the Tour Finals right now.

D.H. Lee withdrew during his second round of THE PLAYERS, citing a shoulder injury.

The PGA TOUR sophomore walked off after his tee ball went long at the par-3 third hole. He opened bogey-par and sat 7-over through 20 holes. It goes in the books as an inauspicious debut as well as the latest in a long line of failures this season. He entered the week slotted 221st in the FedExCup standings with only four paydays in 13 starts, none of which for a top 55. If he's able, he'll try again at next week's HP Byron Nelson Championship.

D.H. Lee swallowed a 3-over-par 37-38=75 in the third round of the Zurich Classic of New Orleans to miss the 54-hole cut on the number at 2-under 214.

This was a big event for Lee last year as his T8 at TPC Louisiana got his season rolling. It's not to be this time around. Joining him without a Sunday tee time are: 214--Nick Watney; Ken Duke; Josh Teater; Scott McCarron ... 215--Luke Guthrie; Billy Hurley III; Luke Guthrie ... 217--Brice Garnett ... 220--Geoff Ogilvy.

D.H. Lee shot a 4-under-par 34-34=68 in the opening round of the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

Lee's sophomore season has been a failure, but it takes just one week to turn it around. He went 6-for-15 in par-breaker chances at TPC Louisiana today, burying six birdies to offset a pair of bogeys. Four of his birdies traveled longer than 10 feet, the highlight measuring 47'2" at the par-3 third hole. He signed his card sitting four strokes off the clubhouse lead and with a strokes gained-putting split just over 2.000. It's his lowest aggregate since he opened the season with a 3-under 67 at The McGladrey Classic in November.

D.H. Lee came out of nowhere to tie for eighth at the 2013 Zurich Classic of New Orleans and hopes for a similar fate this time around.

Very much like this season, he had struggled before his arrival at TPC Louisiana last time around. In 2013, he had made six of 10 cuts, but with nothing better than a T49 at the Sony Open for his troubles. This season Lee has cashed in just three of 11 starts, highlighted by a T58 at the Valspar Championship. If he cracks a top 25 this week in NOLA, he is officially a course horse.

D.H. Lee settled for a 3-over-par 36-38=74 for his opening round of the Valspar Championship.

Whatever the reason he needed to quit during his second round of The Honda Classic, the good news is that he's back today. That's the only good news. He split seven (of 13) fairways and hit only nine greens in regulation at Copperhead today. He erased two birdies with five bogeys to extend a lost season.

D.H. Lee is listed in the published field of next week's Valspar Championship.

We will don't know why he withdrew during his second round at last week's Honda Classic, but it may have been the culmination of an issue that could explain why he's had such a terrible. Indeed, those are lots of ifs and buts, but the message is clear that he doesn't belong in any lineup for the time being. For the record, he missed the cut in his debut at Copperhead last year.

D.H. Lee withdrew from The Honda Classic during his second round.

He called it quits while laying 2 in the rough well short and right of the green at the par-4 first hole, his 10th of the round. Lee opened with a 5-over-par 40 on PGA National's back nine and sat 7-over through 27 holes. This drops him to 2-for-8 on the season. He's finished no better than T59 at the Farmers. If an explanation is released for today's decision, we will relay it to you.

D.H. Lee converted an eagle at the par-5 18th hole on the North Course at Torrey Pines in his second round of the Farmers Insurance Open to survive the cut on the number.

After opening with a 1-over 73 on the South Course, Lee was 1-over through 17 holes as he stood on the tee at No. 18. The 3 clinched his second payday in four starts this season (T70, McGladrey). The PGA TOUR sophomore was one of 18 to reach the halfway point tied for 66th place, so because more than 78 golfers made the cut, another cut of low 70 and ties will occur after 54 holes are complete.
