Cameron Beckman has been added to the published field of this week's Puerto Rico Open.

Beckman was the second alternate when the field was released on Friday afternoon. He gained entry due to multiple withdrawals today. He last competed at the Northern Trust Open where he withdrew after his opening 80. We still don't know why. It was a disappointing early conclusion to a week that started with a berth into the event via open qualifying.

Cameron Beckman withdrew from the Northern Trust Open following his opening round.

Beckman carded a 9-over-par 42-38=80 before officially ending his stay. He didn't provide an explanation. Despite six bogeys and three doubles, he did enjoy one highlight, that an eagle hole-out from 143 yards at the par-4 third hole. While he's in the Past Champions category, we'll add him to our Injury Report as per our custom. We probably won't see him again on the PGA TOUR until the Puerto Rico Open in three weeks.

Cameron Beckman has been added to the published field of this week's AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.

Beckman was the first alternate when the field was released on Friday afternoon. He gained entry when Brian Gay withdrew. This will mark Beckman's first start of the year. Now playing out of the Past Champions category, he has no fantasy value.

Cameron Beckman is slated to tee it up at CordeValle Golf Club for the Frys.com Open.

The three-time PGA TOUR winner currently sits 182nd on the money list, with $191,586 in earnings. While he will enjoy past champions status no matter where he finishes 2012, he would certainly like to finish inside the top 125 so he could set his own schedule. He missed the cut in last year's trip to CordeValle Golf Club.

The opening round of the True South Classic was suspended at 11:02 a.m. CT due to dangerous weather in the area. UPDATE: The restart is scheduled for 12:05 p.m. The second round is now set to begin at 12:20 p.m.

This is the second delay of the tournament. Since a deluge scratched the rest of Thursday, the second round was scheduled to begin at 11:10 a.m. today. Cameron Beckman was one of 50 golfers stranded this morning. When play resumes, he'll be lining up an eagle try from 24'3" on the par-5 18th green. The veteran circled five birdies on his inward nine, including four in a row on holes 13-16. He's 2-under through 17. In his last nine starts this season, he's cashed just twice and hasn't posted a top 60.

Cameron Beckman spun a 2-under-par 34-34=68 in the third round of the FedEx St. Jude Classic due in large part to a solid ball-striking effort.

Beckman split 12 (of 14) fairways and landed 12 GIR, leading him to circle five birdies to just three bogeys. Ironically, it was a chip-in from 15 yards that led to his final birdie on the par-4 18th. At the time of his posting, his 69 percent driving accuracy for the week was good for fourth in the field. He enters the final round at even-par 210.

Cameron Beckman turned in a 4-under-par 34-34=68 for his opening round of the Valero Texas Open, good for a share of the clubhouse lead.

Beckman lives locally but he missed the cut in both previous editions of the VTO at TPC San Antonio. Before today, his best score was a 71 in the second round in 2010. Today's loop included seven birdies, including at all four par 5s, three of which dropped in from beyond 10 feet. The most notable measured 23'9" at the second hole and 17'5" at the 14th.

Cameron Beckman spun a 5-under-par 34-32=66 in the third round of the RBC Heritage to make a move up the leaderboard.

Beckman's round saw him circle six birdies to just one bogey, and moves him to 3-under 210 for the week. He split eight (of 14) fairways and found 10 GIR, but putted to a 1.50 putting average. His best finish of the season is a T33 back at the Farmers, and he will have an excellent chance to improve on that in the final round.

San Antonio resident Cameron Beckman is hoping a return to the heart of Texas will result in his first top-25 finish of 2012 at the Shell Houston Open.

Beckman has made half of his eight cuts, but his only finish inside the top 60 was a tie for 33rd at Torrey Pines. In 2011, he finished tied for 36th in this event before then missing his next seven cuts. He ranks 92nd in all-around ranking, but does not crack the top 100 in driving accuracy, distance, GIR or putting.

Cameron Beckman carded a 2-under-par 35-33=68 in his opening round of the Sony Open in Hawaii.

Beckman ended his Fall Series at The McGladrey Classic where he withdrew before his second round with a back injury. Naturally, it's great to see him succeed at Waialae today. He hit 13 greens and took 29 putts. Among his four birdies was a conversion of 17'11" at the fourth hole.

Cameron Beckman is listed in the published field of next week's Sony Open in Hawaii.

We last saw the veteran call it quits after one round of The McGladrey Classic in October due to a back injury. Although he finished 144th on the money list in 2011, he's fully exempt this year by virtue of his Mayakoba win in 2010.

Cameron Beckman was removed from the published field of this week's Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Classic.

Beckman was forced to withdraw last week from The McGladrey Classic due to a back injury, so today's withdrawal is not a surprise. He's currently 142nd on the money list, but still fully exempt next year due to his win at last year's Mayakoba Golf Classic.

Cameron Beckman withdrew prior to his second round at The McGladrey Classic, citing a back injury.

Beckman was scheduled to go off the 10th tee at 1:00 p.m. ET today. He opened with a 4-over-par 37-37=74 on Thursday. Although he's currently 142nd on the money list, he's fully exempt for 2012 by virtue of his win at last year's Mayakoba. Assuming his body will allow it, look for him at next week's season finale at Disney World.

Cameron Beckman settled for a 3-over-par 36-37=73 in his opening round of the Wyndham Championship.

Beckman had to call it quits after 13 holes in Reno due to a back injury. He hit 11 greens in regulation at Sedgefield today, but took 32 putts. He entered the week ranked 124th in FedExCup points, so unless he makes the cut and surges a bit on the weekend, he faces getting bumped outside the top 125 that qualify for the Playoffs, which start next week.
