Tiger Woods and Bill Haas were selected as captain's picks by Fred Couples for the United States' President's Cup team.
In a teleconference, Couples said that he made his decision on Woods "six weeks ago." Of course, that's no secret but today's announcement makes it official. The former world's No. 1 will be making his seventh appearance. Haas, who will be a rookie at the event, secured his spot on the squad by winning THE TOUR Championship on Sunday, which clinched the FedExCup. Haas' father, Jay, is an assistant captain for the biennial competition. The automatic qualifiers were Matt Kuchar, Steve Stricker, Dustin Johnson, Webb Simpson, Nick Watney, Phil Mickelson, Bubba Watson, David Toms, Hunter Mahan and Jim Furyk.
