Justin Bolli signed for a bogey-free 5-under-par 32-33=65 in the final round of the HP Byron Nelson Championship to take the lead in the clubhouse at 9-under 271.
On a day where the wind has been a major factor, Bolli's round currently is the lowest of the day. Three of his five birdies came from longer than 17 feet, including one from just off the green on the par-4 10th. The ball-strking was a challenge, splitting just five (of 14) fairways and landing eight GIR, but the putter continually propped him up when needed. Prior to today, his only top 30 was a tie for fourth in Puerto Rico. While it's unlikely that his final tally will net him a win, there are only four players on the course that sit ahead of him with some tough holes to go. May 19 - 4:25 PM

Justin Bolli spun a 2-under-par 35-33=68 in the third round of the HP Byron Nelson Championship, improving to 4-under 206 for the tournament.

Bolli has put together three consecutive rounds in the 60s, opening with back-to-back 69s. He landed 16 GIR in the round and picked up over a stroke on the field with the flat stick. Three of his four birdies fell from outside of 10 feet. He is chasing just his second top 30 of the season in Sunday's finale, which is supposed to be heavily impacted by wind.
May 18 - 3:36 PM

Justin Bolli lapped Harbour Town in his opening round of the RBC Heritage in 3-under-par 35-33=68.

Bolli hit 12 greens in regulation and carded only eight pars in what was his first competitive round in this tournament. He started on 1 and would circle five birdies by the 14th, including respective conversions from 21'8", 11'4" and 16'10" at the sixth, seventh and 12th holes. However, he was merely 1-under as he strode to the 15th due to four bogeys. After piping his drive and laying to 123 yards at the par 5, he jarred his third for eagle. After three closing pars, he signed his card sitting three off the overnight lead.

Justin Bolli has been added to the published field of this week's Shell Houston Open.

Bolli was the fourth alternate when the field was released on Friday afternoon, but he gained entry on a sponsor exemption today. If it weren't for a T4 in Puerto Rico, his latest return to the PGA TOUR would be an early failure given his only other payday in five starts was a T51 at the Farmers. He's 1-for-2 at Redstone's Tournament Course with a solo 72nd in 2008.

Justin Bolli has been added to the field of this week's Tampa Bay Championship.

The PGA TOUR's media department reported this. Bolli was second alternate when the field was released on Friday afternoon, but he played his way in via a top 10 in Puerto Rico. He'll be making his first appearance at Copperhead.
Mar 11 - 10:52 AM

Justin Bolli spun a 6-under-par 31-35=66 in the final round of the Puerto Rico Open to take control of the lead in the clubhouse at 18-under 270.

Bolli opened with five birdies in his first eight holes, soaring up the leaderboard. He stubbed his toe with two bogeys on a four-hole stretch starting with the 11th. Fortunately, a birdie at the 13th began to offset that and he ended the day with a birdie-birdie finish on the 17th and 18th holes. His previous best PGA TOUR finish was a T5 back in 2008, and it looks a safe bet that he will surpass that. He will now wait and watch to see if his number is good enough to sneak into a playoff or win outright. Regardless, he will now have the opportunity to play in the Tampa Bay Championship, where is was listed as an alternate.

Mar 10 - 4:16 PM

Justin Bolli continued to climb the leaderboard at the Puerto Rico Open with a 4-under-par 34-34=68 in the third round.

Bolli is making his 81st start in a PGA TOUR event, but has only one top 10 to show for his time on the big stage. At 12-under 204, he has an excellent opportunity to double that number in Sunday's finale. He enjoyed five birdies to just one bogey in Saturday's round, failing to birdie either par 5 on the back nine.
Mar 9 - 2:54 PM

Justin Bolli shot a 5-under-par 35-32=67 in his opening round of the Puerto Rico Open, settling two strokes off the pace of the clubhouse co-leaders.

Bolli has not performed anywhere close to how he polished off his victory at the 2012 Web.com Tour Championship to earn status on the 2013 PGA TOUR. His only payday in four starts was a T51 at Torrey Pines. Maybe he just needed a limited-field affair to find some confidence. After beginning today's round par-par-bogey, he circled six birdies against no bogeys. Interestingly, he parred all five par 5s at Trump International.
Mar 7 - 12:31 PM

Justin Bolli enters the Farmers Insurance Open having failed to cash a check in his first two events.

Back for more off the Web.com Tour, the veteran of 78 events has only found himself over par once in five rounds, but it hasn't been good enough to make a cut. With ridiculously low scores in the first two full-field events, he's failed to make enough birdies to factor. With the first reshuffle just a few tournaments away, the Web.com Tour champion needs to earn some dough quickly to ensure plenty of starts late in the year.

At 16-under-par 65-71-67-65=268, Justin Bolli recorded a two-stroke victory at the Web.com Tour Championship at TPC Craig Ranch over 54-hole co-leader, James Hahn, in the process earning one of 25 PGA TOUR cards up for grabs.

Winning the season finale takes a backseat to securing a 2013 PGA TOUR card, but Bolli achieved both today. He's headed to the big leagues for the fourth time since 2005, all via graduating from the Web.com Tour. He started the week ranked 44th in earnings and finished ninth. The other 24 grads include 15 PGA TOUR rookies: Casey Wittenberg (1st in earnings); Luke Guthrie (2nd, rookie); Russell Henley (3rd, rookie); Luke List (4th, rookie); James Hahn (5th, rookie); Shawn Stefani (6th, rookie); Robert Streb (7th, rookie); Ben Kohles (8th, rookie); David Lingmerth (10th, rookie); Justin Hicks (11th); Paul Haley II (12th, rookie); Cameron Percy (13th); Andres Gonzales (14th); Scott Gardiner (15th, rookie); Lee Williams (16th, rookie); Darron Stiles (17th); Brad Fritsch (18th, rookie); Morgan Hoffmann (19th, rookie); Brian Stuard (20th); Andrew Svoboda (21st, rookie); Nicholas Thompson (22nd); Alistair Presnell (23rd, rookie); Doug LaBelle II (24th) and Jim Herman (25th).

Justin Bolli has been added to the field of the Shell Houston Open.

Bolli's poor start to the season has dropped him down the reshuffle list, and with the second reshuffle coming after this week's Houston Open, he needs a good finish to avoid dropping further down the list.

Justin Bolli has been added to the field of the Waste Management Phoenix Open.

Bolli had a very slow start to the season, with three missed cuts, but he has rebounded in recent weeks with made cuts in his last two events.

Justin Bolli posted a final round of 5-under-par 65 to finish in a tie for 15th place at the Wyndham Championship.

Bolli came into the week in 153rd place on the FedExCup Points List and his T-15 at the Wyndham move him up to 141st on the list, which earns him a spot in Barclays field.

Justin Bolli posted a final round of 3-under-par 69 to finish in a tie for fifth place at the AT&T Classic.

Bolli played some aggressive golf in the final round and carded seven birdies with four bogeys. He got his card last year via the Nationwide Tour and his best finish prior to the AT&T was his T-40 at the Wachovia Championship. His Top 10 finish will get him into the field of next open style event, which is the Stanford St. Jude Classic.
