Worst yet, he was six strokes higher than anyone else in the field when he walked off today. Overall, he found only 15 greens in regulation over two rounds and erased five birdies with eight bogeys, four doubles and two triples. This leaves him with one start on his Major Medical Extension to earn $435,779 and retain status. During today's telecast on Golf Channel, Curt Byrum mentioned that this was actually JS3's final start via the medical and that, ironically, Snyder III was going to enter the field of medical sales. Joey Snyder III is scheduled to make his first start of the season at this week's Waste Management Phoenix Open.

Snyder III has sat out since failing to qualify for the FedExCup Playoffs, finishing 203rd in points last season. The 40-year-old still has two starts on his Major Medical Extension to earn $435,779 and retain status, so it's quite possible if not likely that we may see him just those two times this season. In three starts at TPC Scottsdale, he has a T11, but that occurred way back in his rookie year of 2005 before injuries to his neck and shoulder limited his ability to play full-time.

He started the week slotted 200th in FedExCup points, but if he falls outside the top-200 bubble, he may still qualify for a spot in the four-event series due to his medical. Regardless, he has zero fantasy value.
