Jason Pridie clubbed a three-run homer Thursday in the Diamondbacks’ Cactus League win over the Cubs.
Pridie bopped a line drive homer to right field off Cubs right-hander Jake Buchanan in the second inning but was hitless in his other at-bats. In all likelihood, Pridie will begin the year at Triple-A Reno. Pridie hasn’t played in the majors since 2015 with Oakland and that was just a six-game stint. Mar 3 - 12:00 AM

Diamondbacks signed OF Jason Pridie to a minor league contract.

The 33-year-old has appeared in only 21 big league games since the 2011 season, but he refuses to give up the dream. He sat out the 2016 season entirely after slashing a terrific .310/.380/.515 with 20 homers and 89 RBI in 127 games at Triple-A Nashville in 2015.

Athletics released OF Jason Pridie.

The 32-year-old outfielder has appeared in a total of 21 games at the major league level over the past four seasons, seeing just 33 at-bats during that span. He spent the majority of the 2015 campaign raking at Triple-A Nashville to the tune of .310/.380/.515 with 20 long balls and 89 RBI in 127 games. He'll look to latch on elsewhere on a minor league pact with an invite to spring training.

Athletics recalled OF Jason Pridie from Triple-A Nashville.

Pridie hasn't seen time with the A's this season. At Triple-A Nashville, he was hitting a solid .310/.380/.515 with 20 homers and 89 RBI through 541 at-bats. He can clearly clobber minor league pitching and could see a few starts with the expanded roster.

Athletics signed OF Jason Pridie to a minor league contract.

The veteran outfielder had agreed to a deal with SK Wyverns of the Korean Baseball Organization in December, but that deal fell through. He represents a nice depth signing for the A's.

Jason Pridie has agreed to a contract with SK Wyverns of the Korea Baseball Organization.

Pridie appeared in just two games at the major league level in 2014, striking out twice in four at-bats. He was better off heading to Korea than having to settle for a non-guaranteed minor league contract.

Jason Pridie has elected free agency.

Pridie was outrighted off the Rockies' 40-man roster in August. The outfielder appeared in one game with the club in 2014, hitting .278/.341/.433 with 28 steals at Triple-A Colorado Springs. He should catch on with a more outfield-needy club this offseason.

Rockies sent OF Jason Pridie outright to Triple-A Colorado Springs.

He'll remain in the organization after clearing waivers. Pridie was only up with the Rockies long enough to accumulate four at-bats.

Rockies designated OF Jason Pridie for assignment.

Pridie was only in the majors for a handful of days, tallying one hit and two strikeouts in four at-bats. The 30-year-old outfielder will likely pass through waivers.

Rockies purchased the contract of OF Jason Pridie from Triple-A Colorado Springs.

Pridie could have opted-out of his contract last month, chose not to, and had an option to do so again coming up on August 15. The 30-year-old slashed .275/.331/.426 with 10 home runs, 43 RBI, and 22 stolen bases over 87 games with Colorado's Triple-A affiliate. He won't play enough -- or well enough -- to merit fantasy consideration.

Jason Pridie will not exercise the opt-out clause in his minor league contract with the Rockies.

Pridie will have another chance to opt-out on August 15. The 30-year-old is batting .288/.352/.454 with eight home runs, 32 RBI, and 20 stolen bases over 61 games this season with Colorado's Triple-A affiliate.

Rockies reassigned OFs Jason Pridie and Tim Wheeler to minor league camp.

No surprises here. Pridie hit really well this spring but never stood a chance of claiming a roster spot.
Thu, Mar 27, 2014 01:36:00 PM

Jason Pridie went 4-for-4 with a walk, double, run scored, and an RBI against the Padres on Monday.

Pridie had been hitless in the Cactus League since a 3-for-3 day against the Athletics on March 8. Despite the strong effort, there is no room for Pridie in a crowded Rockies outfield, so he'll start at Triple-A.
Mon, Mar 17, 2014 07:02:00 PM

Rockies signed OF Jason Pridie to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.

Pridie was non-tendered by the Orioles earlier this month. He's a .228/.302/.371 career hitter in the majors and will serve as organizational outfield depth for the Rockies, who just traded Dexter Fowler to the Astros.

Orioles non-tendered OF Jason Pridie.

Pridie isn't eligible for arbitration yet, but the O's preferred to open up a spot on their 40-man roster. The 30-year-old has batted just .228/.302/.371 over parts of five major league seasons.
