Ross Ohlendorf won his suspension appeal.
Both his three-game suspension and fine have been revoked, per Jerry Crasnick of ESPN. Ohlendorf was issued the punishment May 13 for hitting David Freese on May 11. That was the sixth batter hit in the game, and it came after both teams had been warned, but this ruling Monday suggests it was not ultimately deemed intentional. Ohlendorf has a 4.79 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, and 22/5 K/BB ratio in 20 2/3 innings out of the Cincinnati bullpen. May 23 - 1:17 PM

It's unclear at this point whether he'll exercise the opt-out or if the Royals will add him to their 40-man roster. Ohlendorf allowed five earned runs in his first two innings this spring but has yielded just one in his last six frames.
