Vogelsong gave up two hits and walked a pair while striking out three. He had a bit of a scare when he dropped down a bunt on a high-and-tight pitch, but fortunately he's fine this time. The next step will be a start with Triple-A Indianapolis on Wednesday. He appears on track to return in a long relief role by the end of the month. The veteran right-hander underwent surgery in early June after he was hit in the face by a pitch and suffered multiple fractures.
