The 37-year-old hurler remains one of the top left-handed bullpen arms remaining on the market after compiling a 2.20 ERA and 1.18 WHIP over 45 innings with the Mariners in 2014. Mariners GM Jack Zduriencik said Thursday that Joe Beimel is "possibly" still on the club's radar.

Beimel rejuvenated his career in 2014 with Seattle, posting a 2.20 ERA in 45 innings of relief after making zero appearances at the big level between 2011-2013. The 37-year-old left-hander may be seeking a multi-year contract in what could be his final shot at major league free agency, and the M's would probably rather do a one-year deal.
