Brewers signed INF Joe Thurston to a minor league contract.
Thurston, 34, failed to catch on with a major league organization last season, splitting time between the Atlantic League and the Mexican League. His last MLB appearance came with the Marlins in 2011. His bat showed some signs of life against the lesser competition, batting a combined .297/.390/.422 in 2013, but he'll be nothing more than an organizational player for the Brewers. Jan 25 - 9:44 PM
