Brewers signed LHP Randy Flores to a minor league contract.

Flores was released by the Yankees this week after posting a 3.07 ERA and 20/5 K/BB ratio over 29 1/3 innings with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The veteran left-hander has a 4.61 ERA over parts eight seasons in the major leagues. The Brewers don't have a left-hander in their bullpen at the moment, so it wouldn't be surprising if he makes his way to the big-league roster rather quickly.

The Brewers are working on signing Randy Flores to a contract.

Flores was just released by the Yankees earlier Tuesday after posting a 3.07 ERA and 20/5 K/BB ratio over 29 1/3 innings with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The Brewers have been without a lefty in their pen for a while, so Flores could immediately join the big club.

Yankees released LHP Randy Flores.

As expected. Flores had a a 3.07 ERA and 20/5 K/BB ratio over 29 1/3 innings with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, but both sides agreed that it was best for him to pursue other options. According to Danny Knobler of CBSSports.com, the veteran southpaw is expected to sign with the Brewers.

The Yankees are expected to release left-hander Randy Flores from his minor league contract Tuesday.

It was a mutual decision. Flores opted out out of his minor league deal with the Padres to sign with the Yankees in May. The 36-year-old southpaw posted a 3.07 ERA and 20/5 K/BB ratio over 29 1/3 innings with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, but apparently the Yankees had no plans to add him to the big league roster. He shouldn't have any trouble finding a new home.

Yankees signed LHP Randy Flores to a minor league contract; assigned him to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Flores opted out of his minor league deal with the Padres this weekend after going a month without a promotion. He posted nice numbers at Triple-A Tucson but will struggle to earn his way into pinstripes. The lefty can opt out if not called up before the All-Star break.

Randy Flores has opted out of his minor-league contract with the Padres.

It has already been speculated that the Yankees could be interested in Flores as a lefty out of their pen. He was drafted by the Yanks back in 1997.

The Yankees could be interested in Randy Flores if he opts out of his minor league deal with the Padres.

Flores can opt out of his deal if he's not called up by May 15. With Pedro Feliciano and Damaso Marte both on the DL, the Yankees are on the lookout for some left-handed relief help, and Flores could be a decent stop-gap solution. Drafted by the Yanks in the ninth round back in 1997, Flores has a 3.12 ERA and 17/6 K/BB ratio over 17 1/3 innings with Triple-A Tucson.

Randy Flores has a 3.12 ERA and 17/6 K/BB ratio over his first 17 1/3 innings with Triple-A Tucson.

Flores has a May 15 opt-out in his minor league contract, so the Padres will have to make a decision in the next few days. Jon Heyman of SI.com writes that the Red Sox, Yankees, Dodgers, Royals and Nationals could be some potential fits for the veteran southpaw.

Padres reassigned LHP Randy Flores, C Guillermo Quiroz and INF Logan Forsythe to Triple-A Tucson.

Flores, a non-roster invitee, posted a 5.23 ERA and 6/2 K/BB ratio over 10 1/3 innings this spring. Some thought he would make the roster given the injury to Joe Thatcher, but the Padres are going with Cory Luebke, instead.

Padres signed LHP Randy Flores to a minor league contract.

Flores, 35, shouldn't make the Padres' Opening Day roster and should only be allowed out of the minor leagues in the event of a major emergency. He allowed a ridiculous .295/.380/.508 batting line to left-handed hitters last season in stays with the Rockies and Twins.

Twins claimed LHP Randy Flores off waivers from the Rockies.

Flores is a lefty specialist with a career 1.40 WHIP against lefties, so he is not going to have fantasy relevance any time soon. For now, he'll take Ron Mahay's place in the Twins' bullpen.

A source tells Troy Renck of the Denver Post that Randy Flores has cleared waivers.

Renck hears that the Rockies could still take a few days to try and trade him before he would become a free agent. Flores was designated for assignment last week and figures to latch on with a contender sooner or later.

Rockies designated LHP Randy Flores for assignment.

The Rockies added Matt Reynolds to their bullpen on Thursday, so there was no need for two left-handed specialists. Flores has a 2.96 ERA and 1.28 WHIP in 47 appearances this season and has held left-handed batters to a .220 batting average. He should generate some interest from contenders.

Rockies re-signed LHP Randy Flores to a one-year contract.

Flores allowed seven runs over 12 innings while being used strictly as a lefty specialist this season. It took him 27 appearances to get those 36 outs he recorded.
