Nick Camino of WTAM 1100 in Cleveland reports that the Twins have interest in free agent outfielder Grady Sizemore.
As Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe reported earlier this month, Sizemore has resumed baseball activities and is looking to catch on with someone. Cafardo previously speculated that the Mets could also have interest in the outfielder. Sizemore missed all of last season due to injury and was limited to just 104 games from 2010-11, batting only .220/.280/.379 in those contests. Jun 12 - 7:50 PM

Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe reports that Grady Sizemore (knee) has resumed baseball activities.

Sizemore, who is coming back from last September's microfracture surgery on his right knee, has yet to encounter any setbacks. Cafardo writes that it "shouldn’t be long before a long list of teams start to inquire" and lists the Mets as one possibility. Sizemore missed all of last season due to injury and was limited to just 104 games from 2010-11, batting only .220/.280/.379 in those contests. Still, he would be an intriguing name on a deal with low guaranteed money. It's not clear when Sizemore is hoping to sign with someone.

Grady Sizemore's agent, Joe Urbon, said Friday that his client's rehab from microfracture knee surgery is going really well.

Sizemore had microfracture surgery on his right knee in September and is still in rehab mode. He doesn't plan to sign with a team until he's ready to play in games and there's no telling when that might be. While he's certainly a long-shot to be a major contributor at the major league level in 2013 or perhaps ever again, it's easy to forget that he's just 30 years old.

According to Anthony McCarron of the New York Daily News, the Yankees have "checked in" on free agent Grady Sizemore.

Sizemore doesn't plan to sign with a team until he's fully recovered from microfracture knee surgery, but could be an option for the Yankees around midseason. Even when healthy, it's hard to imagine Sizemore getting more than a minor league deal. The 30-year-old three-time All-Star hasn't appeared in a major league game since the final month of the 2011 season.

Grady Sizemore (knee) doesn't plan to sign with a team until he is ready to play in live games.

"It could be Opening Day. It could be midseason," agent Joe Urbon told FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal on Monday. "Midseason is more likely." Sizemore, 30, underwent microfracture surgery on his right knee in September. The outfielder hasn't appeared in a major league game since the final month of the 2011 regular season.

According to SNY's Kevin Burkhardt, the Mets are "very interested" in free agent Grady Sizemore.

Sizemore is coming off a second microfracture knee surgery and is not expected to be healthy until the middle of the 2013 season. But the Mets know they aren't going to be contenders and could take a low-risk chance on the 30-year-old three-time All-Star. Sizemore hasn't appeared in a major league game since September 22, 2011.

Grady Sizemore's agent, Joe Urbon, confirmed that his client had microfracture surgery on his right knee in September.

Oh boy. Sizemore previously had microfracture surgery on his left knee in 2010, but his right knee has given him all sorts of problems over the past couple of years. The oft-injured 30-year-old had attracted interest from multiple clubs this offseason, but it's unlikely he'll be ready to contribute until around midseason.

Grady Sizemore's agent, Joe Urbon, told Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe that "all is quiet" on his client.

Michael Silverman of the Boston Herald reported earlier this month that the Red Sox have "checked in on" Sizemore, but it doesn't appear that Boston or any other club is beating down the door to sign him. It's not surprising given Sizemore's huge injury risk. He'll likely have to settle for an incentive-laden, one-year deal this offseason.

Michael Silverman of the Boston Herald reports that the Red Sox have "checked in on" Grady Sizemore.

The Sawx are looking for outfield help, but Sizemore is probably down the list of preferred options. The oft-injured 30-year-old will almost surely have to settle for an incentive-laden, one-year deal this offseason. He missed all of 2012 due to back and knee surgeries.

Grady Sizemore's agent, Joe Urbon, said that his client will attempt to play in 2013.

Sizemore didn't play a game this season due to back and knee surgeries. The 30-year-old outfielder hasn't talked to the Indians about a possible return and will likely have to settle for an incentive-laden deal with a low guarantee this winter.

Grady Sizemore (back, knee) has been ruled out for the season.

It's not a surprise at all at this point. Sizemore was simply never able to get over the hump following back and knee surgeries, and it's knee soreness that's resulting in him being shut down. An impending free agent, Sizemore has now have played in just 104 games over the last three seasons.

Grady Sizemore (back, knee) could begin a minor league rehab assignment in two weeks.

Progress has been hard to come by for Sizemore this season, but he has begun to run on the field in recent days. More setbacks are possible, but he's aiming to finally join the Indians in September. Those in fantasy leagues shouldn't count on him.

According to Indians head athletic trainer Lonnie Soloff, Grady Sizemore (back, knee) has run on two different occasions in the outfield at Progressive Field this week.

Sizemore has experienced numerous setbacks while trying to return from a plethora of injuries, but he still hasn't given up hope on playing this season. As long as he doesn't experience a problem while running on natural surfaces, he could soon progress to participating in baseball activities. He's still very unlikely to make a fantasy impact this season, even if he does return to the field.

Indians manager Manny Acta said Grady Sizemore (back, knee) will try to run again after the team returns home on Sunday.

Sizemore has experienced multiple setbacks over the past couple of months while trying to ramp up his running program on natural surfaces. There are no plans to shut him down at this point, but the Indians aren't counting on him.

Grady Sizemore (back, knee) hasn't given up hope of returning this season.

Sizemore has been swinging the bat and doing other baseball-related activities without restrictions, but he continues to have trouble running on natural surfaces. "The last four months have been frustrating," said Sizemore. "Each day I'm not out there, it's more and more frustrating. I just haven't been able to progress to the next level. It's been up and down. We've had to back it off, then slowly ramp up again." The Indians surprised some by re-signing Sizemore to a one-year, $5 million contract over the winter, but the 29-year-old looks like a sunk cost at the moment.
