Consider him day-to-day for now. Tyler Holt will start in right field.

Chris Dickerson (knee) doubled, walked, and scored a run in Sunday's win over the Rangers.

Dickerson missed a couple of games due to mild discomfort in his left knee. The 32-year-old outfielder has been playing well since joining the Indians via trade in early July, batting .314/.397/.490 in 20 games.

Chris Dickerson (knee) is hoping to be ready to play Saturday.

Dickerson left Thursday's game versus the Mariners with left knee discomfort. He's been playing regularly in left field lately, with Michael Brantley moving over to center to cover for Michael Bourn (hamstring). Ryan Raburn is in left Friday.

Chris Dickerson left Thursday's game versus the Mariners with left knee discomfort.

Dickerson tweaked the knee in the second inning while tracking down a Kendrys Morales double. It's not clear at this point whether it might be more than a day-to-day situation, but the Tribe should update things later Thursday.

Chris Dickerson left Thursday's game versus the Mariners with an apparent leg injury.

Dickerson tweaked something in the second inning while tracking down a Kendrys Morales double in the second and was removed in the third. He dealt with a hamstring injury earlier this month, so it's possible he aggravated that ailment. The Tribe will update his status shortly.

Chris Dickerson homered twice as the Indians swept a doubleheader Saturday against the Tigers.

Dickerson clubbed two solo shots -- one in the third inning and another in the sixth. He's hit well since joining the Tribe and could be working his way into more playing time. The 32-year-old outfielder entered play Saturday with a decent .266/.342/.407 career slash line.

Chris Dickerson (hamstring) will be available to play Friday.

Dickerson missed the last couple games before the All-Star break with a hamstring injury, but he just needed a few days off to heal. He's gone 8-for-17 at the plate since joining the Tribe.

Chris Dickerson is not in the Indians starting lineup on Saturday due to a hamstring injury.

Dickerson has done a nice job filling in for the injured Michael Bourn, going 8-for-17 (.471) with an RBI and four runs scored in his first five games. He should be able to avoid a trip to the disabled list.

Indians acquired OF Chris Dickerson from the Pirates for a player to be named later or cash.

Dickerson has posted a strong .309/.407/.479 batting line with seven home runs and 12 stolen bases in 65 games this season at the Triple-A level. The 32-year-old could see semi-regular action for Cleveland while Michael Bourn recovers from another hamstring strain and may be worth a look in some AL-only fantasy leagues.

Pirates reassigned OF Chris Dickerson, LHPs Daniel Schlereth and Adam Wilk, RHP Zack Thornton, C Omir Santos, INFs Michael Martinez and Robert Andino.

No real surprises with this wave of cuts. Dickerson played well this spring, hitting .355 (11-for-31) with two doubles and seven RBI in 15 games, but the Pirates simply didn't have enough room for him.

Chris Dickerson had two hits and a stolen base as the Pirates' leadoff man on Saturday.

Dickerson is hoping to fit into the Pirates' right field picture with his .355 average this spring. He's not going to hit for average in the regular season, but he does offer enough power, speed and defense to contribute as a part-timer. Still, it remains to be seen if the Pirates will carve out a role for him.

Pirates signed OF Chris Dickerson to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.

Dickerson batted just .238 with a .266 on-base percentage in 109 plate appearances last season for Baltimore. The Orioles outrighted him off their 40-man roster in October and he'll likely have to report to the Pirates' Triple-A club at the start of the 2014 season.
