Rangers released RHP Sean Green.
Green made 13 relief appearances with the Brewers last season but had little chance to crack Texas' bullpen. The 32-year-old right-hander has a 4.41 ERA in the big leagues but is a long shot to make it back. He should be able to procure another minor league contract, if he so chooses. Rangers signed RHP Sean Green to a minor league contract.

He'll also get an invite to spring training. Green made 13 relief appearances with the Brewers last season, but spent the majority of the year with Triple-A Nashville, posting a 3.91 ERA and 40/27 K/BB ratio over 46 innings. The 32-year-old right-hander has a 4.41 ERA in the big leagues and will likely struggle to win a spot in the Rangers' bullpen.

Brewers sent RHP Sean Green outright to Triple-A Nashville.

Green accepted a minor league assignment after clearing waivers. The 32-year-old right-hander posted a 5.40 ERA and 7/6 K/BB ratio over 11 2/3 innings before being designated for assignment earlier this week. He'll stick around as organizational depth.

Brewers optioned RHP Sean Green to Triple-A Nashville.

Green made the Opening Day roster, but hasn't been especially sharp this season, posting a 5.40 ERA and 7/6 K/BB ratio over 11 2/3 innings. He'll likely be back with the big club at some point.

Brewers signed RHP Sean Green to a one-year, $875,000 contract.

The right-handed reliever was non-tendered by the Mets earlier this month after missing most of the 2010 season due to rib fractures. He's posted decent numbers when healthy and will serve as organizational depth for the Brew Crew. Chances are he won't find a spot on the Opening Day roster.

Mets non-tendered RHP Sean Green.

Green missed most of the season with fractured ribs, posting a 3.86 ERA and 12/8 K/BB ratio over just 9 1/3 innings. This was probably the toughest call for Mets GM Sandy Alderson, as the bullpen currently has many holes, but there are plenty of interesting relievers available in free agency.

Mets recalled RHP Sean Green from Triple-A Buffalo.

Green's fractured ribs are all healed and he's ready to contribute in middle relief. The righty has a 4.40 career ERA over 249-plus MLB innings.

Sean Green is expected to be recalled from Triple-A Buffalo when Francisco Rodriguez (thumb) is placed on the disabled list Tuesday.

Green was activated from the disabled list and optioned to Triple-A Buffalo last week in order to get some more work in. He has been sidelined since the first week of the season due to a stress fracture in his right rib cage.

Mets activated RHP Sean Green from the 15-day disabled list; optioned him to Triple-A Buffalo.

Green hasn't pitched with the major league club since the first week of the season due to a stress fracture in his right rib cage. He needs more work, anyway. Green has a 5.40 ERA in seven appearances with Triple-A Buffalo thus far.

Sean Green (ribs) may be close to returning from the disabled list.

After a misdiagnosis that led to a longer rehab than was at first expected, Green feels good for the first time since April. He even returned to his 3/4 arm slot after trying out the submarine style earlier this year. The Mets are required to make a decision on Friday, so he should be in the bullpen at Citi Field soon.

Sean Green (ribs) tossed a scoreless inning in his first minor league rehab appearance with Single-A St. Lucie on Thursday.

Green tossed a hitless inning, striking out one and walking one. He has been sidelined since early April due to a stress fracture in his right rib cage. There's a chance he can return from the DL later this month.

Sean Green (ribs) will begin throwing to hitters next week.

The reliever made only one appearance at the beginning of the season before going down with a stress fracture in his rib cage. It sounds like he might be able to return sometime this month, but since he's been out so long it's tough to peg an accurate timetable for him.

Sean Green (ribs) is one week from starting a rehab assignment.

The rehabbing reliever has been out since April 11 with a stress fracture in his rib cage. Green is probably aiming to return soon after the All-Star break.

Sean Green (ribs) has now thrown a baseball twice on flat ground.

The right-handed reliever was diagnosed with a stress fracture in his rib cage at the start of the season and has been on the disabled list since April 11. Green is probably another month from full health.
