Hannahan resumed throwing a week ago and is doing well, but he's being brought along slowly after having a setback in May with his surgically-repaired right shoulder. "It's going good," Hannahan said. "It's been the best it's felt. I'm just kind of going with the throwing program and swinging. This is the best it's felt this go-round." Hannahan isn't close to a rehab assignment and will need 10-14 days' worth of rehab games, so obviously it will be a while before he returns.

Hannahan added that he needs "to be consistent at 120 [feet] and feeling good and then we'll throw some balls across the diamond."
