The 29-year-old shortstop has hit to a .267/.343/.429 triple-slash with 11 doubles, six homers and 36 RBI across 217 at-bats. Brandon Crawford hit a walkoff RBI single to send the Giants to a 4-3, 10-inning win over the Padres on Wednesday.

Matt Duffy managed a one-out single against reliever Brad Hand in the 10th inning and later moved to second on a wild pitch, setting the stage for Crawford. The 29-year-old shortstop came through with a deep RBI single to win the game. It would have gone for a double or triple in any other circumstance. For the season, Crawford is hitting .262/.337/.449 with six homers and 27 RBI.
May 25 - 7:17 PM

Brandon Crawford went 2-for-3 with a three-run triple and four total RBI in Tuesday's 8-2 win over the Padres.

Crawford notched his first RBI with a single in the sixth inning. He would come through again in much louder fashion in the bottom of the eighth. Stepping to the plate with the bases juiced, the 29-year-old shortstop brought 'em all home with a three-run triple off reliever Keith Hessler to blow open what had been a 3-1 game. For the season, Crawford is slashing .256/.330/.438 with nine doubles, six homers and 26 RBI across 160 at-bats.
May 25 - 1:18 AM

Brandon Crawford went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run and five RBI in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Padres.

Yes, Crawford drove in all five of the Giant runs on the evening. He got the party started with flair, mashing a three-run homer against Padres starter Colin Rea in the second inning. In the sixth, a sacrifice fly would be in order, while the eighth saw him notch an RBI double. The 29-year-old shortstop is slashing .257/.329/.434 with five homers and 21 RBI over 136 at-bats. He had been dealing with a bit of a stiff neck earlier this month, but Tuesday's performance would seem to indicate that bothersome ailment is behind him.
May 18 - 1:45 AM

Brandon Crawford (neck) is not in the Giants' lineup for Saturday's game against the Diamondbacks.

He's dealing with a stiff neck, though manager Bruce Bochy said he'll be available off the bench. Kelby Tomlinson will fill in at shortstop and bat eighth. The Giants don't seem too concerned about Crawford's status. He should be back for Sunday's series finale.
May 14 - 6:48 PM

Brandon Crawford is out of the Giants' starting lineup Tuesday night against the Blue Jays.

Kelby Tomlinson will get the start at shortstop and bat eighth versus Blue Jays left-hander J.A. Happ. It's a very right-handed lineup for San Francisco.
May 10 - 7:02 PM

Brandon Crawford hit a three-run homer Friday in the Giants' 6-4 defeat of the Rockies.

Crawford has four homers and 14 RBI through 30 games. He's not going to do enough in the other categories to be very valuable in mixed leagues, but he's been a big part of the excellent Giants offense to date.
May 7 - 1:09 AM

Brandon Crawford's three-run homer in the seventh inning propelled the Giants to a comeback win over the Reds on Monday.

The Reds tagged Johnny Cueto for six runs in the third inning, but then the Big Dread Machine known as the Reds bullpen went to work. JC Ramirez and Drew Hayes were lit up for six runs over their two innings, highlighted by Crawford's bomb. The Giants shortstop also tacked on an RBI single in the ninth. Crawford is hitting .253/.343/.414 with three homers and 10 RBI.
May 2 - 11:04 PM

Brandon Crawford doubled twice and was intentionally walked twice Friday against the Marlins.

Crawford upped his average to .246. Though he has two homers already, he's collected just four RBI, which is partly a product of batting behind the struggling Matt Duffy in the order. That's changed now, as the Giants have returned Duffy to the third spot in the lineup in an effort to get him going.
Apr 23 - 1:34 AM

Brandon Crawford is back in the Giants' lineup Saturday against the Dodgers.

He'll bat seventh against Dodgers left-hander Scott Kazmir. Crawford got the night off Friday after his hip flared up Thursday in a loss to Colorado. Kelby Tomlinson will take a seat after filling in for Crawford on Friday night.
Apr 16 - 5:58 PM

Brandon Crawford is not in the Giants starting lineup for Friday's game against the Dodgers.

Crawford is considered day-to-day after leaving Thursday's game with a hip flexor injury. Given the fact that they're facing Clayton Kershaw, holding him out an extra day seems like a no-brainer. Kelby Tomlinson will start in his place on Friday.
Apr 15 - 6:33 PM

Brandon Crawford left Thursday's game against the Rockies with a hip flexor injury.

Ehire Adrianza replaced Crawford in the seventh inning but was forced from the game an inning later after fouling a ball off his left foot. Crawford considers himself questionable for Friday's game against the Dodgers. If Crawford sits, Kelby Tomlinson would likely start in his place with Joe Panik filling in at second base.
