Brandon Crawford hit a two-run homer off the Diamondbacks' Rubby De La Rosa on Saturday.

Brandon Crawford went 0-for-2 with a walk Monday against the Rockies.

Crawford hit safely in the first three games of the season and has seen some at-bats out of the No. 5 spot of late, but he's now hitless over his last five games. The 28-year-old is better served to be in the bottom-third of the order (like he was on Monday), but the Giants are pretty banged up right now.

Brandon Crawford is batting fifth for the Giants on Thursday night against the Padres.

Crawford has a .385 batting average and a 1.000 OPS through the Giants' first three games, so he's getting a bump in the lineup from manager Bruce Bochy. Crawford hit seventh in each of those first three games.

Brandon Crawford is currently battling shoulder soreness.

Crawford also dealt with it last year and it's not believed to be serious. He's still healthy enough to DH, like he'll do on Wednesday, but the Giants don't plan to have him play in the field until next week.

Giants and SS Brandon Crawford avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $3.175 million contract.

Crawford requested $3.95 million from the Giants and was offered $2.4 million when arbitration figures were exchanged on January 16. The two sides agreed at the midpoint. Crawford, 27, was eligible for salary arbitration for the first time in his career.

Brandon Crawford requested $3.95 million and was offered $2.4 million from the Giants when arbitration figures were exchanged.

MLBTradeRumors.com is on the side of the Giants in this one, projecting the shortstop to earn $2.5 million. The 27-year-old shortstop is arbitration-eligible for the first time and will earn a nice raise over the $560,000 that he earned in 2014 regardless of which side wins this battle.

Brandon Crawford went 2-for-4 and drove home three runs on Sunday, leading the Giants to a 5-0 victory over the Royals in Game 5 of the World Series.

Crawford came through with an RBI groundout in the second inning to plate Hunter Pence and get the Giants on the board. He would later add another RBI with a two-out single off James Shields in the fifth inning to score Pablo Sandoval. Crawford then completed the Giants scoring for the evening with a RBI bloop single to left field that scored Juan Perez in a three-run uprising in the eighth. He’s now hitting .250 with a homer and a team-leading eight RBI in the postseason.

Brandon Crawford continued his hot hitting in Friday's victory over the Nationals, going 3-for-4 with a double.

Noted more for his strong chops defensively, the offensive hero of Wednesday's Wild Card game, has really stepped his game up under the bright lights of postseason play. If he continues to produce, he extends the Giants lineup and makes them a serious threat to make another deep run into October.

Brandon Crawford hit a grand slam in the fourth inning of the Giants' win over the Pirates in Wednesday's Wild Card Game.

Of all the unlikely heroes in a one-game playoff, Crawford may have been among the unlikeliest. But there he was, pulling an Edinson Volquez curveball into the right field stands for a grand slam that gave the Giants the lead and ultimately the victory. Crawford finished 1-for-5 in the game, but he can go hitless until 2015 and still have earned his spot in the lineup this postseason.

Brandon Crawford had a two-run homer and an RBI double versus the Dodgers in Friday's rout.

The homer was just his second in 50 career games against the Dodgers. He's now tied his career high with nine homers on the year, matching his total from last year. He's off to a 12-for-29 start in September after hitting just .173 in July and .193 in August.

Brandon Crawford is not in the Giants starting lineup for Saturday afternoon's tilt against the Tigers.

Crawford has been battling a sore shoulder which caused him to miss a pair of games earlier in the week, so his absence appears to be precautionary. Matt Duffy will start in his place and bat eighth against opposing southpaw David Price.

Brandon Crawford wasn't in the lineup Thursday for the second straight game due to a right shoulder injury.

Crawford said Thursday that the shoulder has been "bugging me pretty good the last four or five days" and is an issue on his throws. It doesn't sound like something that will force him to the disabled list, but it's also unclear if Crawford will be ready to play Friday.

Brandon Crawford went 3-for-4 with an RBI single and a run scored Friday against the Mets.

Crawford also had his ninth triple of the season. The three-hit night was nice to see from the 27-year-old, who entered Friday's action with an ugly .173 batting average and 21 strikeouts over 75 at-bats this month. He's shown a bit more pop this season, but most in mixed leagues can do better.
