Brandon Crawford reached four times Wednesday, finishing with a single and three walks against the A's.

Oddly enough, his three walks were the only ones drawn by the Giants all night. Crawford has had an extremely disappointing year at the plate; he entered the night at .227/.268/.372 (with just 18 unintentional walks in 369 plate appearances). His defense has still made him an adequate player for the Giants, but he hasn't had much to offer fantasy leaguers.
Aug 3 - 1:09 AM

Brandon Crawford went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Friday's loss to the Dodgers.

Crawford connected for a solo home run off Alex Wood in the second inning. The homer was his first since July 9. Overall, the shortstop is slashing a lackluster .232/.273/.384 with nine homers and 53 RBI in 87 games played.
Jul 29 - 1:01 AM

Brandon Crawford went 1-for-4 with an RBI double in Sunday's loss to the Padres.

Crawford hit an RBI double off Trevor Cahill in the second inning. That hit drove in the only run the Giants would score on the afternoon. For the season as a whole, the shortstop is slashing .225/.266/.371 with eight homers and 46 RBI across 76 games played. He has driven in exactly 84 runs in each of the past two campaigns, a mark which he should be in play to meet or surpass when all is said and done this time around.
Jul 16 - 7:40 PM

Brandon Crawford went 2-for-5 with a homer and three RBI in the Giants' loss to the Marlins on Sunday.

Crawford opened the game's scoring with a two-run shot off Marlins starter Jose Urena in the bottom of the second inning before adding an RBI single in the bottom of the eighth. The 30-year-old shortstop is still batting just .225/.266/.369 in 73 total games this season, but he did finish the first half on a high note.
Jul 9 - 8:34 PM

Brandon Crawford finished 1-for-3 with a walk, run scored and two RBI in Saturday's loss against the Marlins.

Crawford is just 8-for-68 (.118) since June 18, dropping his average from .258 to .222. He has been a huge disappointment for the Giants this season, as he had posted 84 RBI in each of the past two seasons, including an All-Star appearance in 2015. Crawford has looked anything like an All-Star this season, slashing an ugly .222/.264/.357 through 266 at-bats.
Jul 9 - 3:26 AM

Brandon Crawford went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts in the Giants' loss to the Tigers on Thursday.

Crawford is 0-for-7 with three strikeouts over the last two games and batting just .223/.263/.362 in 70 total games this year. San Francisco sits dead last in the National League West standings.
Jul 6 - 4:05 PM

Brandon Crawford slugged a two-run homer Tuesday versus the Tigers.

His blast tied the game in the top of the seventh inning, but Justin Upton singled in two runs in the bottom of the frame to put the Tigers ahead for good. Coming off a miserable June, Crawford is batting just .229/.270/.372 with seven homers and 40 RBI through 68 games.
Jul 4 - 4:07 PM

Brandon Crawford went 0-for-4 with a strikeout as the Giants were shut out by R.A. Dickey and company on Monday.

Crawford had been elevated to the third spot in the lineup against the veteran knuckleballer, but couldn't deliver for his fantasy owners. With the hitless effort, the hard-hitting shortstop had his season slash fall to .252/.296/.416 to go with his six homers and 32 RBI.
Jun 19 - 11:29 PM

Brandon Crawford went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run and three total RBI in Sunday's loss to Rockies.

Crawford cracked a solo homer off Tyler Chatwood in the fifth inning. He would later tack on an RBI double in the ninth. The latter hit came as part of a three-run ninth inning by the Giants, one which gave them a very short-lived 5-3 lead. Nolan Arenado would hit a walk-off three-run homer in the bottom of the frame to deny the Giants a late comeback victory. For his part, Crawford is now hitting .258/.301/.424 with sixth homers and 32 RBI in 198 at-bats. He has picked up a pair of three-hit games in his last three contests.

Jun 17 - 12:59 PM

Brandon Crawford went 3-for-5 with a three-run home run and a double in Thursday's loss to the Rockies.

The Rockies took a 9-1 lead into the seventh inning before the Giants started to make things interesting. They posted two runs in that seventh before putting up a five-spot in the eighth to make the score 9-8, with Crawford's two-out, three-run homer the big blow. They would actually manage to tie the game up in the ninth inning before the Rockies walked off an RBI single by Raimel Tapia in the bottom of the frame. Crawford entered action on Thursday stuck in a 3-for-24 cold spell, but snapped that, at least for one night.
Jun 16 - 12:51 AM

Brandon Crawford went 2-for-4 with a homer and four RBI on Sunday, but it wasn't enough to lead his club to victory over the Phillies.

Crawford blasted a two-run homer in the sixth inning to pull the Giants within a run at 6-5, then gave them the lead with a two-run single the following frame. His bat has perked up this week and he's now hitting .268/.296/.427 with four homers and 24 RBI for the season.
Jun 4 - 6:03 PM

Brandon Crawford went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's loss to the Phillies.

With his club trailing by four runs in the ninth, he delivered an RBI single and then came around to score on a single by Aaron Hill, but his club's rally ultimately fell short. Crawford is having a rather bland season at the plate, batting .261/.291/.405 with three homers, 19 runs and 20 RBI in 42 games.
Jun 3 - 7:23 PM
