Aug 10 - 3:33 PM

Brandon Crawford had an historic night Monday, going 7-for-8 at the dish with two RBI and a run scored in an extra-innings win over the Marlins.

As fate would have it, it was Crawford who drove in the go-ahead run with an RBI single in the top of the 14th inning. He also plated the run that ultimately sent the games to extra innings with an RBI single to knot things up in the eighth. Just for fun, he also added a stolen base. Crawford saw his batting average go from .265 to .278 with his monster night. It was the first seven-hit game baseball has seen since 1975.

Crawford missed a handful of games with a bruised hand, but he sure looked comfortable on Tuesday night. The 29-year-old shortstop is enjoying another fine all-around season for the Giants with a .272/.342/.437 batting line, 10 home runs, and 66 RBI in 103 games.

Giants manager Bruce Bochy said Brandon Crawford (hand) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

Crawford didn't start Saturday's game because of a bruised hand but he did enter the game as a defensive replacement in the ninth inning. Eduardo Nunez started in his place and would probably do so again if Crawford sits out the series finale.
Jul 30 - 10:06 PM

Crawford raced around the bases for a two-run triple in the seventh inning. The three-bagger was his fifth of the season. He also hit a pair of singles in the contest. Brandon Crawford went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI as the Giants closed out the first half of the season with a 4-0 victory over the Diamondbacks on Sunday night.

Jul 10 - 11:05 PM

Brandon Crawford went 3-for-3 with a homer, a double, three RBI and a walk Friday against the Diamondbacks.

Crawford opened the season hitting seventh in front of the pitcher, which seemed like a good reason to be skeptical of his production last year; after all, that's a bad spot for runs and RBI and he wasn't going to steal bases, either. Crawford, though, is hitting fifth regularly now and even fourth on occasion, and he's collected 58 RBI in 86 games. He'll slow down some, but he's a much better bet while hitting in the middle of the order.
Jul 9 - 2:00 AM

Brandon Crawford went 2-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored on Saturday in Arizona.

Crawford currently has career-highs in each of his .276/.349/.437 slash stats and is on pace to drive in 100 runs. He now has 8 home runs, 34 runs scored and 53 RBI. His only subpar category is stolen bases, of which he has only three.
Jul 3 - 1:31 AM

Crawford finished a home run shy of the cycle. As for the runs he drove in, the shortstop notched a two-run double in the third and a three-run triple in the sixth. For the season, Crawford is slashing .268/.342/.415 with six homers and 49 RBI over 265 at-bats.

Jun 27 - 6:15 PM

Brandon Crawford went 1-for-4 with three RBI in Monday's win over the Brewers.

Crawford finished with a game-high three RBI and played a key role in helping the Giants to pull away in the later innings. He notched a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning to snap a 4-4 tie, then provided a little breathing room with a two-run single just an inning later. The 29-year-old shortstop has hit to a .267/.343/.429 triple-slash with 11 doubles, six homers and 36 RBI across 217 at-bats. He socked 21 home runs last season, a number that he might be challenged to match at his current pace.
