Roger Bernadina, who had been dealing with a visa issue, arrived at Mets spring training on Saturday.

He's a non-roster invitee and due to the crowded outfield situation in New York he's likely ticketed for Triple-A to begin the season. The 31-year-old outfielder is a career .236/.307/.354 hitter over 1480 plate appearances in the big leagues.

Roger Bernadina will be late to Mets' camp due to a visa issue.

Bernadina signed with the Mets earlier this month as a non-roster player. The 31-year-old appears ticketed for Triple-A regardless of when he arrives to camp.

Mets signed OF Roger Bernadina to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.

Bernadina, 31, spent last season at Triple-A with the Rockies, batting .276/.383/.466 with 15 homers and 20 steals. He can play all three outfield spots and provides the Mets with a depth option.

Roger Bernadina (wrist) is still a few days away from resuming swinging a bat.

Bernadina injured his wrist in an on-field collision on March 7. The non-roster invitee is obviously running out of time to make an impression, but he wasn’t expected to crack the Opening Day roster, anyway.

Rockies signed OF Roger Bernadina to a minor league contract.

Bernadina batted just .167/.304/.258 in 80 plate appearances this season between the Reds and Dodgers and for his career he's hit just .236/.307/.354. The 30-year-old is doubtful to have a significant impact for the Rockies, who have a ton of outfield depth.

Roger Bernadina has elected to become a free agent.

Bernadina batted .167/.304/.258 in 80 plate appearances this season between the Reds and Dodgers, and he owns a weak .236/.307/.354 batting line for his career. The 30-year-old outfielder may have to settle for a minor league deal on the open market.

Dodgers purchased the contract of OF Roger Bernadina from Triple-A Albuquerque.

Bernadina will give the Dodgers some extra outfield depth for the stretch run. The 30-year-old is a .236/.306/.352 career hitter in 1,471 major league plate appearances.

Reds designated outfielder Roger Bernadina for assignment.

Bernadina probably would have proven more valuable than Skip Schumaker given the chance, but the Reds weren't about to give either much playing time unless a starting outfielder got hurt. Bernadina ended up hitting .143/.294/.179 with two steals in 28 at-bats. The White Sox might want to pick him up with Adam Eaton out.

Reds purchased the contract of OF Roger Bernadina from Triple-A Louisville.

Bernadina's inclusion on the roster was a cinch after Skip Schumaker's (shoulder) injury. Of course, he certainly earned it on his own by batting .413/.518/.739 with three homers in Cactus League play. He'll back up at all three outfield spots.
