Kyler Burke went 3-for-5 on Saturday and has 14 hits in his last six games for Honolulu of the HWL.

Seven of those hits have been doubles. Overall, the 2006 supplemental first-round pick is hitting .379/.438/.552 in 58 at-bats. He's been a bust in the minors so far, but he's just 19 and he has plenty of tools. The Cubs figure to have him begin 2008 in the Midwest League.

Kyler Burke - OF - Cubs

Outfielder Kyler Burke was traded from the Padres to the Cubs in a three-player deal.

Burke, 19, was a supplemental first-round pick last year, but he hit just .209/.313/.294 in the GCL in his pro debut and he was at .211/.305/.268 for low Single-A Fort Wayne this season. There are still some nice tools here, but he's about as raw as they come.
