Chris Narveson threw three scoreless innings for the win as the Marlins beat the Mets 1-0 on Tuesday.

Chris Narveson tossed three scoreless frames Saturday in a win against the Red Sox.

He scattered four hits and one walk. The Brewers used Narveson as a starter early in his career but almost all of his appearances for the Marlins last season came out of the pen. That should be the case again in 2016.

Chris Narveson allowed two earned runs in 1 1/3 innings as the Marlins fell to the Mets on Sunday.

Narveson was pitching in relief for the Fish after leaving his previous start (on August 31) with a blister on his left middle finger. The veteran southpaw holds a rough 5.73 ERA in 22 innings this season at the major league level. He might not get another start the rest of the way.

Chris Narveson left Monday's start versus the Braves due to a blister on his left middle finger.

It's too bad, as Narveson was pitching well with 5 1/3 scoreless frames. He'll be re-evaluated later this week before it's determined whether he can make his next start.

Chris Narveson was hit hard in a losing effort against the Pirates on Wednesday, serving up seven runs across 3 2/3 innings.

The Pirates exploded for seven runs in the second inning, capped off by Andrew McCutchen's three-run home run which made it 7-1. Narveson, overall, allowed eight hits and three walks while striking out three. It was his first start since April 15, 2012.
