Brown will start at first base in Wednesday's matinee against the White Sox. The 26-year-old batted .226 (7-for-31) with four doubles and an RBI in a stint with the Indians earlier this season. He batted .298/.341/.463 with eight home runs and 67 RBI with Triple-A Columbus. Though he is a good contact hitter, he possesses only modest power and is getting a little old to be considered a prospect.
