Boggs gets a reprieve after Nyjer Morgan landed on the disabled list with a broken finger on Friday. Although he was just 1-for-10 before his demotion, his one hit was a solo home run. However, his playing time figures to be limited like it was before he was sent down.

Brandon Boggs rapped four of Milwaukee's 25 hits against the Reds on Monday, driving in four runs and scoring twice.

One of his hits was a solo home run off of Homer Bailey. Boggs has just 24 major league at-bats since the end of the 2008 season, so a huge spring will be key if he wants to earn one of the Brewers' final bench spots. So far, he's hitting .318 with seven RBI through 22 at-bats.
