Nick Hagadone has resolved his grievance case against the Indians.

Hagadone fractured his forearm in 2012 after punching something in frustration and was soon placed on the disqualified list by the Indians. The MLBPA then filed a grievance on his behalf. According to Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Hagadone will receive salary and have his service time restored while the Indians will receive another option on him.

The 27-year-old southpaw has struggled during his time with the Indians this season, posting a 5.33 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 23/16 K/BB ratio over 25 1/3 innings. Left-handed hitters though are hitting just .196/.288/.304 with a 14/6 K/BB ratio in 46 at-bats against him, so the Tribe would be wise to use him in a specialist role.
