Reds signed 2B John Tolisano to a minor league contract.
The 25-year-old was a second round selection of the Blue Jays in the 2007 draft, and had spent the first seven years of his minor league career in the Jays organization. He hit .243/.312/.392 with five homers, 31 RBI and three steals in 64 games at Double-A New Hampshire in 2013. He's nothing more than organizational depth at this point. Jan 18 - 11:19 AM

John Tolisano went 5-for-5 with a homer and four RBI for Single-A Dunedin on Monday.

Tolisano, a 2007 supplemental first-round pick, lifted his average from .229 to .257 with the performance. He's been a disappointment since hitting 10 homers in 49 games in the GCL in his pro debut, but he's just 20 and the Jays still hold high hopes for his development.
