Francisley Bueno was reinstated from his suspension on Wednesday and threw a scoreless inning of relief.

Bueno had to complete a two-game suspension stemming from an incident in August 2008 in which he threw at the head of Alfonso Soriano. The 31-year-old left-hander will finish out the season in a middle relief role. He's now thrown 14 1/3 career innings in the major leagues.

Bueno, who was then with the Braves, was found to have intentionally thrown at the head of Alfonso Soriano in an August game. He had the suspension reduced from three to two games after appealing.

Coincidentally, Bueno has been suspended three games for "intentionally throwing a pitch in the head area" of Alfonso Soriano on Wednesday. Pending his appeal, he'll serve the penalty the next time he's called up.
