Indians released RHP Chris Jakubauskas.

Jakubauskas, 34, signed a minor league deal with the Indians at the end of May and posted a 3.86 ERA and 13/8 K/BB ratio over 14 innings with the team's Triple-A affiliate. He'll attempt to latch on elsewhere.

Indians signed RHP Chris Jakubauskas to a minor league contract.

Jakubauskas had been pitching in relief at the Brewers' Triple-A affiliate, posting a 3.29 ERA over eight appearances. He's merely organizational depth.

Brewers signed RHP Chris Jakubauskas to a minor league contract.

Jakubauskas spent all of 2012 in the minors, posting a 4.29 ERA over 65 innings in the Diamondbacks' and Blue Jays' organizations. He's merely organizational depth.

Blue Jays signed RHP Chris Jakubauskas to a minor league contract.

Jakubauskas, 32, registered an awful 5.72 ERA in 72 1/3 innings last year for the Orioles. He's not likely to reach the bigs, unless Toronto experiences a further rash of pitching injuries.

Diamondbacks signed RHP Chris Jakubauskas to a minor league contract.

The deal was agreed to on Tuesday. Jakubauskas, 32, registered a poor 5.72 ERA in 72 1/3 innings this year but will be looking to claim a bullpen spot in Arizona.

According to MLB Trade Rumors, the Diamondbacks have signed right-hander Chris Jakubauskas.

Jakubauskas hinted at the move via his Twitter account earlier in the day Tuesday. The 32-year-old right-hander opted for free agency after being outrighted off the O's 40-man roster late last month. He posted an ugly 5.72 ERA and 52/29 K/BB ratio over 72 1/3 innings as a reliever and starter this past season. The Diamondbacks have yet to make an official announcement, but chances are it's a minor league deal with an invite to spring training.

Chris Jakubauskas hopes to have a contract agreement to return to the Orioles on Monday.

The 32-year-old right-hander was outrighted to Triple-A Norfolk and subsequently elected free agency in late-October. It's probably best that he stay in Baltimore, an organization with whom he's familiar and also has the worst pitching staff in all of baseball. Jakubauskas posted an ugly 5.72 ERA and 52/29 K/BB ratio over 72 1/3 innings as both a starter and reliever this past season.

Chris Jakubauskas has elected free agency.

The 32-year-old right-hander posted an ugly 5.72 ERA and 52/29 K/BB ratio over 72 1/3 innings as both a starter and reliever this season. He'll look to latch on with another organization on a minor league deal.

Orioles sent RHP Chris Jakubauskas outright to Triple-A Norfolk.

Jakubauskas, 32, posted an ugly 5.72 ERA and 52/29 K/BB ratio over 72 1/3 innings as both a starter and reliever this season. The Orioles' 40-man roster is now set at 36 while Jakubauskas can elect to become a free agent.

Chris Jakubauskas got lit up by the Rangers on Monday evening, allowing six runs on seven hits and two home runs in just two innings of an Orioles loss.

That may do it for Jakubauskas' spot in the Orioles rotation, as he is now the owner of a 6.75 ERA and 1.78 WHIP through his first 40 innings of work. If not for Brian Matusz's recent demotion, Jakubauskas would likely already have a different role.

Chris Jakubauskas labored all night against the Cardinals on Wednesday, allowing five runs on seven hits and three walks in five innings of an Orioles loss.

Jakubauskas allowed two runs a piece in the second and third innings before giving up his fifth in the fifth. Jakubauskas has now failed to go longer than 5 1/3 innings in any of his five starts this season. The owner of a 5.68 ERA and 1.68 WHIP, he's a poor AL-only league option.

Chris Jakubauskas surrendered three runs on five hits and three walks over five innings Friday in a 5-4 extra innings win over the Reds.

He threw just 76 pitches, as Jakubauskas isn’t all the way stretched out yet after moving back-and-forth from the bullpen to the rotation. The right-hander hasn’t been anything special, but he’s probably pitched well enough to remain in the rotation for the time being, holding a 4.43 ERA over his four starts. He’ll likely get the Braves next weekend.

Chris Jakubauskas allowed three runs on six hits in five innings of work on Sunday afternoon, improving to 2-0 in Baltimore's 7-4 victory in Washington D.C.

He struck out six and walked one, with his only real blemish coming in the fourth, where he allowed back-to-back RBI doubles to Mike Morse and Danny Espinosa. Now the owner of a 5.14 ERA and 1.64 WHIP through his first 28 innings of work, he'll get the Reds next weekend if he remains in the Orioles rotation.

Chris Jakubauskas has been officially announced as Sunday's starter.

The O's had been listing the slot as TBD in case Jakubauskas was needed out of the bullpen the last few days. He threw five shutout innings in his first start earlier this month but was roughed up a little the last time out. He's not a recommended fantasy option.
